I have been going to this place since it opened up about 5 or 6 months ago. It is directly on the way home from work and very easy to get in and out of. (plenty of parking) The prices are some of the best I have seen in the Westville area and the selection of beer, wine and other packages are quite extensive. I was very surprised to find out that they actually had Dogfish 120 as well. The owner is always very friendly and is helpful if you are looking for a particular drink and can recommend things that are in your price range. Much better prices and more friendly than Amity Wines for sure. Check it out!

Best shop in Westville, hands down. Amity has a few more specialty wines, but West Rocks prices cant be beat on everything from wine and nips to 6-packs. The people are also very friendly, and they run a tight ship... even when its busy, you never have to wait long in line. Whatever you do, avoid the competing store down the hill, across from CVS (the owner overcharges when he thinks he can get away with it).

This is my favorite liquor/beer store in New Haven (Im not a wine drinker so I cant advise). The owners are friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. Dont shop anywhere else, b.c. you cant get better service or prices. They will also special order you your favorite spirits if they dont carry.
