I was financed a vehicle in March of this year, 2 weeks after having it, my breaks started making noise, I bring it in and I am told I needed new rotors, about 2 months after that event (Just 2 1/2 months into getting the financed vehicle.) my car begins to skid from second gear to fourth, shifting without moving anywhere and then followed by a loud boom. I called the office which I was told to bring it in and they said that the gentleman wasnt able to feel anything because of the inability to go above a certain speed. I was told to make an appointment, the gentleman from service then told me I would have to pay out of pocket to get it checked. I am not financially comfortable throwing out money so I did not make an appointment. 2 months later July 31st 2017 (Only 4 months after having the car), I bring the car with a check engine light. A service personnel takes my car on a test drive and to his surprise (now that the check engine light is on) the transmission is slipping. I now am forwarded to Another dealership where I am told "The transmission is completely useless" and that "I will immediately need a replacement which is not guaranteed that my extended warranty will cover." Please, before you buy or finance from this place, take a mechanic, have them check EVERY little thing possible. They will take your money and put you in a car that is messed up. I am now left without a vehicle because of my inability to pay for the expensive repairs! I was better off purchasing a car on the street, Thanks Harte family Motors!

I had an amazing experience with Harte. Mike Finelli completely took care of me and my girlfriend with getting our new car. Made it work with the loan. Made us feel comfortable. Explained everything in a way we Would understand. He was patient and gave us a great deal. The next day I came back to show my mother the new car and she ended up walking away with a new car as well. Mike is so charismatic and friendly he makes you feel like youre talking to a family friend youve known for years. Not just Mike but the entire Harte staff is incredible. Ive gone to other auto dealerships around here and felt like I was surrounded by sharks who want nothing but to get money out of you in whatever way possible and believe me its not like that here. Mile Finelli isnt just the guy who got me my car hes now a friend and I truly recommend coming and getting a car with him.

Im not sure why this place is getting poor reviews. I first purchased a vehicle from this dealership in 2010. The process went smooth, fair trade on my old car and no issues with the vehicle I purchased. Service guys always came through as promised with the service agreement. When my wife needed a new car, I went back to Harte. I worked with one of the managers (Paul I think), and decided on a 2013 Infinity. My wife loves the car and we havent had an issue with it once. Last year I went back to Harte and worked with Paul again, ended up with a Fronteer, which has also given me zero problems. Ive sent friends and family to Harte and Ive never heard anything bad from them either. These guys are very fair with prices and trade ins. And you wont feel pressured or have that sales person breathing down the back of your neck, like other places.

As a first time buyer I was completely overwhelmed by car shopping until I made a stop at Harte. I was helped by Mike, who from the very beginning was amazing. I dealt with about 10 salesmen before him who were pushy and sometimes just flat out rude. He on the other end was friendly, knowledgeable, with a laid back attitude that instantly put me at ease. He listened to where I wanted to be financially and actually worked with me to get where I wanted to be. I fell in love with the first car he showed me and despite the fact we hit a hiccup with the credit union he pulled strings to ensure I left the lot with the car I wanted. Overall I had a fantastic experience here and would recommend anyone to make a stop here for a car.

We had a wonderful experience getting a used vehicle. Just last friday, we took our first SUV here. Mr. Franco Cavallaro Jr., was so accommodating and treated us like a family member, not a customer. Actually, all of them were so friendly and nice. They will give you much options as possible according to your situation. Initially, we intend to buy an old SUV model but got a much better option. We just got in the country a month ago and got 0 credit score, so we were hesitant to apply for financing but we got approved. We would like to thank the whole Harte - Meridien staff especially Mr. Franco, who went out in the rain to install the plate number for us, we highly appreciate it. Advance happy thanksgiving!!! I drove down from Griswold (over an hour away) after making an appointment to look at a great older model Pathfinder in incredible condition, low miles. The guys there; Glen and the manager; Jay were outstanding helping me get this great vehicle. I had difficult credit situation and they were able to get me in the vehicle the same day with extended warranty, payments that were quite reasonable and no pressure. I highly recommend anyone in the market buy from them, I most certainly will again. They made it easy and cant say enough great things about my experience of buying from them after so many other past dealing with bad dealerships, I feel as if they really care about the customer.

They tried to put you in a car and try to push you in buying one.but be careful cause I have 10 credit inquiries from them. And they were looking for a loan to get approved and I got approved but I did not take it cause the payment was too high for. A 2007 car His name was Joe Spanish kid he said the credit inquiries will erase the next day but it erases in 2 years now I have 11 inquiries on my credit report which I found out when I got home and I was so upset that I refused it .then they said to pay for 205 a month for three years which I did not understand why 3 years. And I never been with a place like that check 11 times. Never again

Excellent experience buying a car here. No pressure and up front. Corey was great guiding me through the car buying experience. My credit was mediocre and I was still approved for a great car at a great value. The whole process from test driving to taking it home took about 2 hours and everything was explained in great detail. The carfax was produced without even having to ask for it. The process was easy and everything handled in a professional manner. They dont try to up sell you to a car that you cant afford. I will definitely return to buy my next car from them. I had an amazing experience at Harte family motors especially with Cory! This was my first time buying a car and Cory made everything feel easy and worked with me, he didnt try to sell me anything extra or the latest model of the car which was awesome not feeling pressured into anything. Cory was absolutely amazing and got me right at the price I wanted. I went in on a Sunday and had a car by Monday it was an awesome feeling. Would 110% recommended Harte for your car buying for the best people and the best cars! And make sure to ask for Cory because he wont steer you in the wrong direction
