I have been to this shop twice for the same job in the same year( sprocket and new chain) . that first job should have lasted for 2 or 3 years but didnt so i needed to get the sprockets and chain changed again. first job i felt i have been over charged especially for an oil changed that cost over 160$. this time i did not get the oil change but again the same job we negotiated the price then when the repairs started they discovered that i had a missing spacer on my rear tire and it cost me about $170 extra to get one installed. THERE is a big problem that i had a missing spacer because they did the job several months before and there was no word about a spacer. so the two possibilities are that i was lied to and there was a spacer they just wanted to make extra money. or when the did the job earlier they forgot to put the spacer back. either way is bad. especially if they forgot to put in a spacer and punting me at risk I would strongly advise to take your bike somewhere else i had a lot more trusted , better and cheaper services in many other motorcycle shops. i will not go back there again.

Went to get valves adjusted on my bike and was quoted at $250. I asked them to clean the carb as well, so that should have brought the bill up a small amount. When I picked it up, my bill was over $600. So that means the carb clean was $350? Doesnt sound right. On top of that, I brought in my own valve shim kit for them to use ($100) and they tried to keep it! I also brought my own coolant, and they charged me for coolant as well as tried to keep the coolant I brought. When I picked up the bike it also had no seat on it. They said that I didnt bring it with one and I thought maybe it was at home. When I got home and saw that it wasnt there I called them and they told me the seat was in fact in their garage, so I had to drive 20 minutes each way to go get it. On top of all of this, the bike ran for about 3 minutes and shut off, and wouldnt start again. So, I cleaned the carb myself and it ran perfectly. Did they even clean it?? Will never come here again.

Very disappointing. Went in for new front tire and front fork seals for FJR 1300 2008. Took two weeks instead of 3 days. No Communication unless I called. They broke the dust shield and glued it back on(u tube instruction video says be careful not to break them off). Should have replaced the one he broke considering its a pain for me to pull the front forks again when his patch job eventually fails. Cost over $400 for the forks which is well beyond what the forum says it should cost even with new bushings. And I was originally told he never charges full price for the tire but of course on my bill is a full price charge for the tire. Never again. They also lost my friends harley engine overhaul work due to such crappy service for me. Id look elsewhere.

They are very flakey. After getting tires installed, I got about 15 miles on rt 6 before the rear wheel wedged itself into the swingarm. I was barely able to manuver the bike to the side of the road, trying to swerve around oncoming traffic. I quickly noticed that the rear axle nut was missing. One of my buddies ordered a new nut for me and torqued it correctly for me and installed the cotter pin. Two things that Motoconsult neglected to do. I will never go back and have heard many other complaints from people about similar incidedents since. Do not put your life in their hands!!!

I needed a battery in a pinch and after a Hail Mary email the owner agreed to me on a Sunday, off-hours, to sell me one. Major points right there. The tour of the shop, the showroom and the valuable troubleshooting tips I got regarding some other quirks of my cantankerous old Beemer didnt hurt either. They work on everything, have decades of experience. Most any shops that sell BMW make you feel like theyre doing you a favor by granting you seconds of their precious time. Not the case with Motoconsult. Ill definitely go back and would recommend this shop to others.

Motoconsult is an awesome shop. They have great pricing on parts, service, bikes and are truly passionate about motorcycles. On maintenance on older bikes, they do it all. Stop by to check out the showroom and see for yourself! We had our first bike a 85 Honda Nighthawk repaired there and did great job for the price range we had to be in. Then we bought a great bike from them. A 1998 Moto Guzzi California import. And its great I love riding on the back of that bike!

I had my rear tail lights switched to LEDs they took extremely long to do the job then when I noticed that my blinkers wont Blink which is obviously dangerous they refuse to take responsibility and the owner Ben refuses to call me back so now I had to pay another garage to fix there mistake (the wires were crisscross) so yea totally my fault... Save your money dont go there

I had MotoConsult mount 2 Avon tires on my Honda. The rear tire showed cracking after only 30 days. They took the bike in and replaced the tire with a Bridgestone at no charge even though it had a higher retail price. They were fast and fair. I dont think I could ask for anything more.
