This grocery store is beyond disgusting!!!!! Every time I have came in here there has always been something wrong. Maggots and worms growing in the apples, expired dairy still left on the shelves, rotten meat and steaks (which I had to return back twice in the same day.) And some of the canned foods is also dented sometimes too which can lead to Bochulism!!! But the worse part was what happened a few days ago. I bought something from the deli department, got home and ate it. Then not even a few hours later I got deathly sick!!! And I know it was from the rotten potato salad and macaroni salad I ordered which must have been left sitting out for days at a time!!!!! So then I go back and tell store management and theyre like: "Oh well how can you prove it was our food which made you sick? Anything could have happen to you so you cant prove it was foodborne illness." The nerve of store "management" to saying it was not their fault when it clearly was???!!!!! Are you joking right now???? Never again will I shop in Shop Rite Manchester again because I dont want to take any risks of possibly dying from any of their nasty, rotten, and undercooked and underprepared food!!!!

Great prices and food. However, why are there so many handicapped spots? There is no reason for so many god Damn handicapped spots. Makes finding spots difficult. *** UPDATE*** 10 6 16 I was going to the store to buy a pre-made sub sandwich which usually goes for $2.99??? for the 6 inch and $4.79 for the footlong. When I get there I see that they raised the price of a footlong from $4.79 to about $7 to $9 a footlong!!!. These greedy bastards. Im just not going to buy it anymore. Whats up with the price hike? Its just greedy and makes no sense. It used to be a great deal but now Im not going to buy your food anymore.

We have used both "shop at home" with "store pick up" and then changed to at home delivery. We have been happy with both. The products are chosen, just as ordered. Especially the produce is just as I ask and the right size. They always call for permission to substitute a product and will charge you the sale price, even though the substitution costs more. Whether talking to them on the phone or when they come and deliver, they have always been courteous. As with any business, there can be an error made. In the few cases this has happened they have rectified it to our satisfaction.

They used to have good prices and coupons. Now the last 2 weeks 0, zippo coupons! The mostly horrible employees (they do have a few good ones including the older gentleman behind the deli...love him) were made up for with the good prices but lately its just not worth it. Today was the final straw. No carts...not one! The produce was beyond disgusting...I wouldnt of bought it as seconds! Nothing was stocked and then a long line at checkout! What happened to you Shoprite? Ive shopped here for 5 years now and the last year has been nothing but very steeply down hill.

I was using Shop Rite brand automatic dish washing powder in my dishwasher. It streaked my aluminum pots and stainless terribly. It also turned parts of my nylon utensils white and powdery. I sent a complaint to corporate and also told them Id bring the items to the local store, which I did. At the store they refunded my money + gave me $10 in store coupons. A day or so later corporate called. After hearing the story and the amount of damages they sent me a $25 check. Cant ask for a company to stand behind their products better than that !

So since when did the sign at the express register go from "12 items or less" to "about 12 items"? Well a customer was in front of me with oh maybe 30 something items and a pile of coupons. Really! What a freaking fiasco! My frozen foods and ice cream were almost thawed out before they were even cashed out! Change the express sign back to "12 items or less only" or have the cashier redirect non express customers to a regular line! By the way, I only had six items.

Its a great, clean store... However, I didnt realize that all ShopRite store are privately owned; which means that even national products may not be on sale from one ShopRite to the next - extremely fustrating, especially when one may be miles away from another/he.

I gave stop and shop 5 stars because its a great store with pretty much all you need ..but their prices are very high, the store is very clean the staff is very helpful so if you dont mind spending a bunch of money it a great place to shop.

Several sale items were out of stock...Mostly frozen and canned items. Im not sure how they will get through a busy Saturday without stock to sell. I understand that Friday is busy but the store was sacked pretty well today...

Very slow, the hot table for the soups was turned off, when i found that i couldnt get soup because it never was up to safe temp. My check out person was new and slow. He also felt that he shouldnt have to bag.

The food there is very nicely priced if you want to get the best service with seafood and deli meats stop in there and see Justin P hes really really great and you wont hesitate to jump in the help you

Cashier took forever and gave an old lady a super hard time about a 75 cent coupon. Stood in line for over 39 min. Cashier was new but had no idea what she was doing. Maybe u should train them first?

ShopRite has an excellent selection and its a hometown grocery store. One of my favorite things about it is their olive bar. Its always fresh and whoever fixes it up, must really love salad.

Bad experience. The night before the storm they had a packed store but only opened 2 lanes to check out. I walked out and left the cart. Staff isnt that friendly either

Dirty place, vegetables look like it was on its way out, and the deli department was a mess. I no longer shop at this location. The parking lot needs attention to.

Just ok. To be honest, I thought it would be better value, but the prices are not any better than a comparable stop and shop. Dont go out of your way.

Very fair prices for high quality produce and products...I pay 2.99 for 32 chewable antacids here that cost 4.99 at walgreens....enjoy saving money
