The employees are always there to help! When I need something, they always go out of their way to help me find it. The food service departments are also great. Best bakery in town! As for the seafood department, there is no one with the name Christina that works there nor does anyone have sores. The review below is false, because I know for a fact that the seafood manager is a very nice man named Mark. I highly recommend shopping at Manchester Big Y for great service and quality products!

Wide open food shopping. Big Y has an excellent selection of everything you might need for all your tastes of food. One of the best Depts is the prepared food and Pizza Bar, serving everything from a single slice to huge pan pizzas at reasonable prices. And the Sandwich bar has any type of grinder or wrap, made to order with all your favorite fixins. Excellent food choices at Big Y.

Stopped in here for sandwiches with my boyfriend because our bus stops at the yucky buffet a few doors down... We were the only 2 black people in the line and an older white employee walked by us and said "Wow, I thought Black Friday was over." We were so thrown off. Not the first racist employee Ive encountered there, but certainly my last visit.

i got there like twice a month. and they not all that friendly the service is okay as far as when you need something . i got a grinder and the lady who made my food definitely wasnt that friendly she ask me what i want but the look on her face was like i was bothering her by ordering something. i said thank you and no response at all.

Avoid anything on sale, particularly the store brand, its almost guaranteed to be defective. Nearly every week I make the mistake of getting something thats on sale and regretting it. Always long lines during after work hours as well. Done shopping here, price chopper is better quality and cheaper.

The Store is always clean its conveniently located, if youre out shopping, and want to grab something quick for home. I went there for a seafood dinner, which I ordered at the seafood counter, and picked up a couple of things for the house while I waited.

The customer service desk was very friendly and happy to help.. I went to check out and my card didnt work so after getting to end I had to go to customer service for a business card for big Y.. they were amazingly quick... VERY PLEASED

The store is very clean and in the numerous times Ive been there in the evening there has never been a stocking issue. For a grocery store carrying mostly everything, I would recommend this Big Y.

Pre-made food good. Lots of selections including bulk buying, organic and prepared meals. Good meat, sushi, deli and seafood selections. Lines were slow as they dont have self-serve lines.

Ordered sandwiches today. Cant put more than 2 types of meat average of 3 ounces on large grinder. 2 slices ot cheese. If youre willing to pay more they cant accommodate you . Poor choices.

About a year ago they charged 20 bucks for a platinum membership and you got deeper discounts. They discontinued that, so theres 20 bucks Im not getting back. Wont be coming here anymore.
