This store is AWFUL. I went in a few months ago because I had dropped my phone and broken the screen and the home button. I had no idea I shouldve gone straight to Apple, and they certainly didnt tell me that at Wireless Zone. They replaced my screen, but they didnt have a home button, so oh well, I wasnt going to come back another day and spend even more money to get the button replaced. So after the phone was "fixed" it immediately began overheating all the time, and it quit holding a charge. I went to the Apple store and learned that not only would they have fixed my phone for LESS MONEY if I had gone there first, but now they wont touch the phone at all because a 3rd party has tampered with it. Fast forward to now: Im sick of having a phone that doesnt work. I went back to the same store to complain. First of all they said that the repair had nothing to do with my phone overheating, because the repairman didnt touch anything on the inside. Then they said I shouldve brought it back within 90 days and it wouldve been covered by the repair warranty. Which is evidently NOT TRUE, because the repair warranty only covers what the guy replaced, i.e., the screen. And the woman there just told me the problem was on the inside, which he supposedly didnt touch. She also said these phones overheat all the time. What a coincidence. In short: I shouldve gone to Apple, but instead Wireless Zone broke my phone in the process of replacing the screen, and now my only option is to buy a new phone. So Im going to buy an unlocked phone at Apple and go with another carrier once my contract is up in November. Also I just went to Russia and encountered major, major problems because Verizon doesnt carry any sort of international plan for Russia. Thank god I speak Russian, or else I wouldve been completely lost and helpless. No GPS, no access to screenshots of my directions, no access to my phonebook. Nothing. Meanwhile my colleagues who were with other carriers had no trouble at all.

HORRIBLE! I tried to exchange a defective phone and this store refused to take it back because they claimed it had damage from a fall. It did NOT!! They admitted that my phone was dead due to a software issue, and still refused to take it back. They called insurance and then Verizon who said that it could be warrantied out at an actual Verizon store. So I drove to the Verizon in North Haven and they said that they couldnt exchange it because it wasnt purchased there. HOWEVER, Verizon determined that there was NO damage to my phone and that Wireless Zone was basically full of it. What they constituted as damage was simple wear and tear. After over 2 hours of speaking to reps in the store and on the phone, Verizon was able to warranty it out FOR FREE and give me a new one, BUT I had to get it via mail. Moral of the story DO NOT buy from Wireless Zone. They are frauds. And at least two of these reviews are fraudulent!! Kelsey Gillespie works at the store so her review is fraudulent. Peter LaChapelle is the manager. They BOTH sold me my phone so I know this for a fact. Stay Away!!

I am a college student and I was having a problem with my phone. I went into the Verizon store one night with my mother and was told that my phone could be fixed easily in just an hour or two if I came back the next day. The next day I went back by myself and did not receive good service. Not only did they tell me that my phone could not be fixed and I would have to purchase a new one, but the man who was helping me was very rude, made inappropriate comments and would not stop trying to sell me phone accessories even though I had said no multiple times. I was not pleased with the service at The Verizon Wireless- Wireless Zone in Hamden, CT. Every employee I encountered was unprofessional. I would not go back to this store and I would definitely not recommend it to others.

I came in because my phone was no longer turning on, and the insurance on it was saying that type of damage wasnt covered, so I thought I would need to buy a new phone. Anthony realized that I should also have been covered by an extended warranty which would cover that kind of damage, and called to establish that my phone get replaced right then, instead of just trying to sell me a new phone. When someone helps you so that you save money rather than help themselves out (it is their job to sell you a phone) that is fantastic customer service. Anthony went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of. You can bet that when I do eventually need to get a new phone I will come here again.

We recently purchased two I Phones S E. We are first time buyers of these type of phones having no knowledge of any smart phones whatsoever. After dealing with Timothy Munsell your store manager we received more knowledge than we expected. Timothy was very courteous and respectful of our ignorance,Therefore bolstering our confidence in use of the Apple I Phones. We will certainly return to the Hamden Verizon Store for our needs. The workers there are very friendly and helpful. I went in the other day to replace my phone that had been stolen. The staff was super helpful and got my account secured quickly. I received my new phone within 24 hours, and I was given a discount on my accessories (case and screen protector).

Dont go to this store its not a real Verizon! These people dont know what theyre doing or talking about and messed up my phone upgrade and plan!
