I am not in the habit of spending my time reviewing businesses. In fact, this is my first review ever. However, my recent visit to the Fairfield Napa Auto parts store has prompted me to take action. This is the first store in my 40+ years on this earth where NO prices are on any of the products in the store. Whats up with that??? I must admit, this is a very ingenious strategy for the owners of the store - but terrible for the customer. I picked out what I thought would be the best value - but frankly did not have time to go back and forth to the front desk doing price checks on each brand. When I mentioned this at the front desk, the response I got was - “yeh, you won’t find prices on anything in the store“. Frankly I was too stunned to continue my questioning and find out why. Given the choice, however, I won’t visit this store - or any other Napa Auto Parts store. Well, maybe I will visit one from time to time - for research purposes. I am in the process of completing my MBA and the practice of omitting the prices on retail products could be a new profit strategy for stores in the future. Very interesting….

I dont undertand how this place stays in business. The personel act like they are doing you a favor when you ask a question and forget about any service 15 min before they close. I like to support my local businesses but the prices (nothing is marked) are outrageous. It used to be a cool place to go but it has changed in the past several years. If I need a NAPA item, I will drive the extra 20 minutes and go to Daddios in Seymour or Auto Zone in Bport.

This store makes up prices as you come in. They charge way over list - if you shop on the net you will see. Very clever there are no prices on anything on the shelves. It is deliberate. $45 for a buffing wheel? $65 for a longboard 3m sander? All locally andon the net for half these prices. Beware - there are other options. This is a rip off place. And you know it as you go in too - the vibe is wrong.

Ive been going to this place since I was a child with my father. Everyone was always helpful and courteous. They always have what I want, and I always thought the prices were more then reasonable.

Very knowledgeable staff. If they dont have the part for your car in stock, theyre really good about finding the right part for you the first time.
