i needed a part for the wheel of my motorcycle, a rim strip to be exact. simple - rubber strip you apply to the rim to protect the tube. the dealership I usually go to didnt have them in stock for a 17" wheel, so I called them. a girl answered, and had no idea what I asked, spent 5 minutes on hold, and a guy answered. I told him what I was looking for, and he did not understand either. put me on hold for 10 more minutes. 17" rims? rim sets? what? no clue. so I say okay, Ill drive down and talk to you guys. they instruct me to go to the Kawasaki building (because they have 2 showrooms instead of building one big dealership... makes sense) and I go there. I tell the kid at the counter that I need a rim strip. he gives me a blank stare, turns around, looks at the gloves hanging on the wall, and goes yeah... I think they keep that kind of stuff in the other building. at this point, I am pissed off and mutter something about how nobody in the dealership knows what a damn rim strip is. go over there, the parts counter is backed up with customers and so I tell the guy that I need a rim strip. he looked like a mechanic, so I thought he would know. we walk back over to the OTHER building, and he tries showing me this striping tape you would put on your wheel. NOPE. we go back over to the OTHER building, and he disappears for 5 minutes, comes back, and says nope sorry we dont have those. I left, very angry. its truly ridiculous , the whole scene over there. the time before that I went over was equally stupid. I went to the KTM/Ducati building and went to a guy at a desk, presumably a salesman about a bike they had on their website that I was interested in. it was a dual sport Honda (crf250l) and he tells me that it sold, but oh dont worry I got a bike for you! he explains that he was finishing up some paper work but head over to the other showroom and he would be over on a few minutes. I go over and dont really see anything that was what I wanted (dual sport /supermoto) he comes over and goes okay, here ya go! perfect! its a kx250f. motocross bike. uhhhhh, nope. I want a bike that is street legal with lights. he shows me a KTM woods bike. its not street legal no but you could make it street legal! he was completely missing my point. showed me a cool husky, not what I wanted at all but he says go ahead sit on it! okay, sure. Im a short girl, but I ride a full sized dirtbike so Im used to the height. the guy at the desk at this showroom who has not said anything until this point goes, WOW look at that! and makes a comment about how I got on no problem even though I was a short girl. right... sure. I own numerous European motorcycles (KTM/husqvarnas) and I aVoid it at all cost. the concept is great... local dealership with high end brands. too bad it flat out sucks. I work in customer service, so I get it. they have a higher class customer base with their brand line, so they need to step up their game. alot.

Ive been searching around for the right dealer to purchase my new KTM Super Duke R from for quite a while. Living approximately 1 hour from my three closest KTM dealers led me to reach out to them first. Im very glad I placed a call to Motofit in Danbury. I spoke to Dan over the phone and explained to him what I was looking for. He was quickly able to accomodate me and at a price that far exceeded my expectations. Unable to come see the bike right away, he forwarded me detailed photos of it and I quickly left a deposit over the phone. When I came in to pick the bike up, Dan was on top of the game and had all of the paperwork ready for me. Dan and the rest of the Motofit crew made me feel like absolute family. I have never felt so relaxed in a dealership with absolutely no pressure. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I rode home my brand new dream bike and got some miles on it smiling ear to ear. A few hours later my phone rang. There was Dan checking in on how my ride was, how I enjoyed it and made the experience that much better. I truly wish that customer service was this good everywhere. From the reviews I had read in the past, maybe Motofit had some issues. However, Im confident in saying Dan has changed that and has this place on the right track. While I dont see myself purchasing another motorcycle in the near future with how happy I am with this one, I will gladly and confidently recommend this place to everyone!

I just had an unbeleivable experience that caused me to register with Google to write this review. I am scheduled to go riding tomorrow up in NH. I was working on my KTM doing some last minute fixes. Long story short, I broke the bolt that holds the front sprocket clean off. This happened tonight(Thursday) at 6:30pm. I called Motofit to see if they had a bolt in stock. I was surprised when they answered the phone because I thought they would be closed. I asked about my bolt and found out that it was not in stock. It is not a wear item so no dealers stock it. It has an odd thread pattern and collar which make it impossible to subtitute with another type of bolt. I asked if there was anyway possible that they would take a bolt off one of their bran new bikes in the show room. The answer that i got almost dropped me to me knees!! The owner, Mike, gave the parts manager permission to take off the bolt from a bran new bike. I got to Motofit at 7:59pm, one minute before closing. They had the bolt ready for me and get this, they only charged me $5.00 for the special bolt with the washer. I would have paid them $50 for making my day. Now this is the place to give your business. I bought my bike from Motofit but they didnt know who I was when they busted their balls to get me up and running. I will buy all my bikes and parts here and hope that you do too. We want to keep shops like this in business.

I usually never do this, but in this case I feel obligated to let other people considering purchasing or servicing their motorcycle/ATV at MotoFit, know what a NIGHTMARE experience I have had dealing with them...Not only was purchasing my bike from there a total run around, but then I needed to have it serviced almost immediately after purchasing it!!! That was a MONTH ago! I am now making payments on a bike I have not seen in over 4 weeks...I cannot get anyone to call me back and when they doI they give me different stories about what is going on, to make matters worse I have shown up there randomly because they tell me its being worked on and my bike is nowhere to be found! I now have contacted an attorney because of the severity of the situation and the manufacturer...I am an avid rider and have purchased many, many bikes, I decided to buy from MotoFit this time and have nothing but regret, all in the middle of prime riding season... BUYERS BEWARE, MotoFit has terrible customer service and has done nothing but LIE to me or ignore my requests for basic information about my property. I am disgusted to say the least.
