Dropped off my bike for service & parts. had to replace front fairing, do some rewiring on the electronics as it was shorting, winterize + storage for all winter. They advertised storage as $75/mo, but didnt say that that promo is only till black friday, and after that is $85/mo. fastforward 3 months later, called up for the quote, was quoted over the phone $750 + storage depending on when i pick it up. I go in a week later, final price came down to whopping $1600! They did not disclose the labor fee over the phone or the taxes. $750 for parts, $400 for labor, $300 for storage, $150 for taxes (all rough figures). Also charged $500 for front fairing piece, You can get entire body fairing kit for that price. They have a disclosure that they only install parts bought from their catalog because of "liability issues" People are nice, service and the job done was good, but the prices are just outrageous. Also they dont check their emails so dont bother. They have an email address on their website and an email address that they use to send out newsletters (which is on their business card) but they do not reply to either. poor business management. Im sure Steve D. guy is an owner of the business, I dealt with him directly. Will look for a new shop next time. You should too

I emailed them about test drive they advertise on the web site. I received the answer that was copy paste from 3 different requests, different bikes, repeated 4 times... Ok, lets call them. I called Craig and asked about test drive for Honda with DCT transmission (how many of you are wondering about this transmission? how fully automatic transmission works with a bike?). So first I heard that they dont have any test drives and what they call a test drive is - when you buy a bike and you dont like it after a mile or two we will destroy the paper work and there was no sale... You know - he goes - you have to really want it, pay for insurance, pay for a bike... I said I understand but how you can buy something that you have completely no idea how it drives? It drives like a car - he goes... Im asking you dear Honda sale department - are you serious? bike that drives as a car? and this is coming from bike sales guy? If thats the way youre taking care of your costumers then thank you very much. You just lost a chance to sale 2 AfricaTwin, not one, two. Dont waste your time for this place.

terrible customer service and you feel like you have done something wrong when you walk in. We have recently started an apple orchard on our farm and was looking for a four wheeler. There was only one rancher in the show room and when i wanted to price one out i was pressured to buy on the spot! Reluctanly I did build a 4x4 rancher manual bike and had a pull start installed( witch i was charged $300 to install and take 7-10 time to pull to start it) When i said i was a farm and my purchases are tax exempt, they laughed and said "what does that mean" My wife had to do extra foot work that the sales person should have done to prove i run a farm. Then when the bike came in i was not even able to look at it be cause my sales man was not in!? They charged me $6 for gas and the tank was bone dry, $10 for tire disposal fee? didnt know i was disposing tires on a brand new four wheeler? and a mysterious extra $100 they have no explanation for???? Buyer beware do not give the place buisness. its a shame because we will be looking for more equipment but will buy elsewhere!

Here, NY state inspection takes 2-3 days! I was riding near this Honda authorized dealer so I decided to go there to get a simple NY state inspection. What they said to me was very surprising. They said: you should leave your bike for 2 to 3 days to get inspected. They had "First come, first serve policy" which also applied to 2 minutes state inspection. In the past at many other dealers and inspection stations, it took only matter of minutes to get inspected. They must hate motorcycles purchased from other dealers can explain all things happened to me. Honda America should drop them as a Honda authorized dealer so loyal honda customers like me and others will not have a bad experience. The way they are doing put Honda very bad reputation. If they don’t like motorcycles including Honda ones from other dealers, they should say we only serve if you buy from us. It is straight forward. I had a very bad experience with them. Period.

Over the last few years my wife and I purchased a honda scooter, a motorcycle for my wife and most recently a 2014 goldwing for myself. I have dealt with the sales staff as well as deal with Steve for my routine business and never have I had a bad experience. I find Steve to be straight forward, no nonsense individual who does right by his customers. On many occasions I have wanted to add certain accessories to my bike and he straight forward told me to save my money and not make the purchase. I have seen some reviews that have been less than kind but being in the customer service business I know you cant always satisfy everyone. The old story that the customer is Always right. Well let me tell you that is not always the truth. So do your research, get your best price and then bring all the honest facts to Champion and I am sure you will get a fair deal with plenty of support should you need it after the purchase.

Looked at the 250s, asked about possible preowned models, then was suggested a 750cc model. Looking at a 250 should be a clear indication that Im either new to riding or looking at a bike for a beginner. In contrast, a dealership off Sunrise sold me a Ninja 250, gave me some beginners pamphlets, gave me some gear discount, suggested certain books for me to learn proper riding techniques, and suggested a proper APPROPRIATE second bike down the line (650r). Champion Honda should be more open to dealing with both new and experienced riders and learn from other dealerships such as the one mentioned because there seems to be a clear distinction between how they treat newcomers and those already familiar to the Motorsport.

I found Champion selling a new (leftover) 2009 Shadow 750 on ebay for a great price. I made contact with Ed, confirmed the price and went down to look at it. It was exactly as claimed and even though the sign on the bike said "cash only" I was told I could finance (through honda or my own bank if thats what I chose). I ended up upgrading to a 2010 Shadow RS (I like the mid controls better). They gave me a great price (financed by my bank) and had the bike full of fluids and ready to when I came down with my check a few hours after we shook hands. No B/S, and the whole sale moved at the pace that I set (a little bit of the old "oh, youre not the only one looking at it - you better hurry").

Bought 3 new bikes from them 2004 crf250r and 2006 crf250r and 2009 crf450r. They always gave me the best price on all the bikes. Always Paid cash. Had small service done there and price was in line with everyone else. I bought my last bike in Jan. 2010 the 2009 crf450r and they charged me $5600 out the door. I asked other dealers about this and they could not even come close to Champions price. Actually one dealer I went to said went cant even come close to that price, you better go buy it before you lose it. I cant vouch for these other reviews but if you are paying cash maybe it is a different story. Thanks Champion Would not go anywhere else. Craig From Long Island NY
