Stop & Shop needs to renovate this store! In my opinion, it has gone downhill since we last came. Now, it is a bad store, and there are multiple problems. PROS -outside of the store appears clean -no expired products -big selection -bakery is good CONS -the store looks old inside and needs a facelift -carts are rusty and dont run well -the layout is weird and things are hard to find. -produce is hit or miss -bananas were all green or brown -bathrooms are dirty -the floors look dirty -the store was poorly lit and felt dark and depressing -meats and fish definitely werent fresh -the store smells like rotten fish and strong cleaner -the seafood area smells nasty, the entire back of the store smells like rotten fish, the smell was VERY strong The last time we came here the store was much cleaner, didnt smell like rotten fish, and didnt feel as dirty and dark. Sad to see that its gone downhill since its the only big supermarket in this area and used to be better. MY PREVIOUS REVIEW; 4 stars We usually stop in to this supermarket when we are in the area. The store is big with a large selection, its clean, and everything seems fresh. It seems older with a weird layout, dark lighting, and old signage, but the cleanliness and selection makes up for it. Overall, a good place for essentials.

They really need to either have more staff running the lines on weekends, or at least open all of the self help lines. There are times you can wait in line for 20-30 min because only 3-4 lines are open.

Small organic section, no fresh fish or butcher. But meat is usually on sale. Good for staples. And only processed meat at the deli. Not many health options but fair selection of produce.

Super stop and shop Is a horrible store that had rid us of those horrible butchers And replaced them with pre cut cryovac Steaks! Yummy
