Calvin Von Crush performed the piercings that I currently have just about 6 years ago. When I was shopping for a piercing artist, I visited more than 20 shops in the course of 3 months. No one seemed to care about what I -exactly- wanted. Calvin spent the time necessary to understand the crucial angles, in 3-dimensions, that I wanted. From there, he took the time to set me up with the correct sizes to ensure the jewelry I wanted. At the end of the project, everything came out perfect. i still get compliments from both amateurs and pros alike about how well it came out. The shop is clean, and Calvin is very rehearsed on regulations and laws (Even for areas that he doesnt practice in). The shop is conscientious of the entire environment - and are always considering and catching things that normal people wouldnt catch in terms of contamination, cleanliness and organization. Calvin is truly a world-class artist who loves his art, and his love of the craft is immediately apparent.

Worst place ever! I walk in and was approached by the lady at the front which wasnt very friendly. I was interested in a tongue piercing which the piercer was very rude and didnt want to answer any questions then he walked away. I asked how much it would cost and the lady said "I dont know his prices because it varies in what jewelry you want and I dont keep track of his inventory" How the **** do you not know the prices of piercings when you work there. Very sketchy place and I would not recommend them to anyone. I also asked for an artist to take a look at a tatt I want so they can give me a price range and once again the lady said that i can look in the portfolios and check out their work. Well let me just say, those are the worse tatts I have ever seen in my life. I wouldnt let them tatt me if it was Free. Sketchy and very unprofessional! Never again will I step foot in that dump.

This place was amazing! I got my first tattoo here. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She asked me what I wanted to get, what my price range was, the color scheme of the tattoo, and gave me a photo albums of past artworks by the artist there. Joe was my tattoo artist and his price was very reasonable for the size of the tattoo I got. One thing I want to point out is that ALL THE ARTIST HAS THEIR OWN PRICE RANGE. So I would recommend doing your research and look around to see which artists artworks and techniques youd prefer. Overall my tattoo turned out exactly how I wanted. I was very satisfied with the work and I would definitely go back for a second, third, and fourth time. I would recommend this place, but the biggest deciding factor is the viewer themselves. One thing I like may be the worst piece of art to someone else. So it all depends on you.

Let me start off by saying I might be the most OCD person on the planet... Everything must be perfect and the tattoo I got from Chad was just that! He was so patient with every little tweak I made during the sketching process. He was so chill and laid back and gave me exactly what I wanted. His level of attention to detail was amazing!!!! I absolutely love the finished product. The shop manager (Amy?) was great, other artists were super nice, and it was such a cool atmosphere. There were really cool unique soap/bath products for purchase in the waiting area...got me some fight club soap while I was there!!!! Great stocking stuffers :) My husband will be going back to see Chad for a tattoo and Im sure I will be doing the same. After years of somewhat jumping around from shop to shop, artist to artist....I can finally say that Chat is "my guy".

This parlor has not only very skilled piercers and tattoo artists but also employess who exude professionalism and excellence in their practice. I have had both my first tattoo here as well as multiple piercings and have found the parlor to be clean, well-run, organized as well as business oriented. Prices are very fair and never hidden. The artists are client focused and are very good at specializing their artistic view based on client needs and wants. Also the artists do thorough teaching for first time goers on piercing and tattoo care. Overall Ive had a great experience with all the staff at Hartford County and am scheduled for another appointment within the next month with my personal favorite tattoo artist Izzy who beautifully drew up my first tattoo and made my first experience as comfortable as needles can be.

By far my favorite tattooing experience to date. The receptionists were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The shop itself is beautiful, very spacious and incredibly clean. There is an art gallery throughout and you are encourage to look around. Johnny did my tattoo and he was phenomenal. I truly cant say enough good things about him. We talked a lot about randomness and he taught me a lot about the tattooing process, the machines used, etc. He paid incredibly close attention to detail, my tattoo came out so perfect you would think it was a slap on. I will be going back to him in the fall to revisit an old tattoo. I was able to show it to him and get some feedback on what my options are and I am incredibly excited for whats to come as well!

Hartford County is amazing : ) I just recently got my second tattoo/a piercing & would never dare to go anywhere else but here. Everyone is so nice & you always feel welcome -- there is no judgement at all if you`re new to tattoos. When you leave, you feel like the guys are your friends & they`re great about follow & touch-ups. The place is immaculate & I never, ever worry about any santitation/cleanliness issues. All the artists are very talented & professional & go above & beyond to ensure that you get exactly what you want -- no matter how many times you change your mind! I would recommend them to anyone & everyone, first or fifteenth tattoo!

RICK RICK RICK!!!!! Rick Stanton has an upbeat vibe about him, and an attitude that automatically makes you comfortable. He does amazing, traditional work and has no problem spending the little extra time and effort to make your ideas come to life as artwork on your body. It is very nice to go to someone knowledgeable, trusting, and just as stoked to give you a tattoo as you are to receive it. And even more so, it is extremely awesome to get a finished tattoo that is clean cut, professional, and flawless. Definitely book your appointment with Rick next time you go! You will not be disappointed in him or his overall piece.

I have to say this was the Best tattoo shop I have ever been too. I absolutely love my tattoo done by Cheryl! I emailed her 30 minutes before my appointment with a different idea and she had no problem sketching it. The shop was spotless, and I have to say it was very nice to see she had her own private room to tattoo in, along with a door. Especially, when your exposing yourself! Everyone was so friendly it was amazing, totally different experience from other shops I have been too. This is the Only shop I will be using from now on. I will see you again Cheryl!!!
