I grew up in a military, law enforcement, and hunting family so Ive been every gun shop in CT over the years and these guys are by far the best! The owner and his staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and above all extremely nice. Its truly a family friendly shop. Bring the wife and kids when you go because these guys will help you get the whole family into the sport. I picked up a real nice competition target rifle from them and the service was amazing. They even did a great job bore sighting in my scope for me. I recommend these guys to anyone that asks! Wish I had found this store years ago.

Excellent business run by outstanding people who truly care about their customers. There are no attitudes behind the counter, which is very important for first time gun buyers as they have a lot of questions they shouldnt feel embarrassed to ask. TGS makes you feel like family whether they know you as a regular or are meeting you for the first time as a new customer. Besides that, they have a great selection on hand and can order anything youre looking for that they dont carry.

Hands down, one of the BEST gun shops that I have ever visited. Selection is VERY good, staff is exceptionally knowledgable without being condescending. These guys can help you with everything from tactical & home defense to hunting, target shooting and shooting clays. Fun place. I will definitely be buying from again.
