FUNNY STORY! So we came in with no intentions of buying anything, and even thou we told them that, they still let us play video games in their store. My brother ,who we brought over to their store a couple of hours later to play games, broke their controller by mistakenly throwing it into the ceiling. They did not charge us for the unrepairable damages, and even offered to let us continue playing. Im unsure about the previous reviews above; however, these people offer more money for trades in cash and try to match Gamestop store credit offers ( from the games Ive seen and I come into both stores often.) They mentioned they had a bad employee but they have gotten rid of that person. Ive personally only received polite and kind customer service. Id wish the people that gave it a negative review to go back and see if its improved.

This is one of my favorite places to hunt for games. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they regularly host swap meets for local gaming groups. Pricing is always fair, I cant speak for trade in credits because I keep everything I buy. If youre mad that they offered you 1.50 for cod ghosts its because they havent moved the 10 copies they already have. If you think you can treat this as a rental store by returning everything youre also going to have a bad time. The policy is in place for a reason, its amazing the amount of people that hate every game they play, in there week after week exchanging games just to play them all the way through to realize they hated it.

I like to shop here to buy games and accessories for older consoles when I dont feel like waiting for an Amazon order. The prices are okay. The staff is hit-or-miss. Sometimes youll be served by a really friendly and knowledgeable clerk, other times you will end up with somebody who was annoyed that you came in. My only real criticism with this store is that they do such high volume (according to the clerk with which I spoke) that they dont take the time to test all the games and accessories that come in. My suggestion is that you have the staff test out any used games that you want to purchase before leaving.

pretty decent selections, like the old shops of day of ol. prices are what youd expect for a place like this, with lots a little trinkets around. they have a decent supply of games to play in shop and hang out for a while. overall, if i cant get what i want online cheaper, or pawnshops and such, this place is usually reliable. pokemon yellow from here was 35 when i bought it. craigslist had one for 15$, with a 20 minute drive. there are always cheaper options, but this place is close. they dont carry mario kart 64 in shop though.

Took my PSP in for repair. Did not hear anything for three weeks. Had to call twice to get an update on the repair. Decided to drop in and was told that the technician hadnt looked at it yet and that they would call me with an update. Did not get a call. Went to the location once again and they told me it was fixed. I told the employee that I didnt authorize any repair. He said I did. I didnt want to argue so I paid the fee and took it home. The headphone jack they said they repaired still does not work.

We went into Buy Back Games to purchase a Metroid Game for the Nintendo Game Cube. Jeff and V the manager searched high and low and confirmed they had the game on the computer. We bought the game and were very happy to have had such amazing and caring customer service. V even had some bagels that he generously shared with us. We were very appreciative of his consideration. We highly recommend this location to everyone! Go Gamers get to Buy Back Games and see V and Jeff! N and H Clark

Its good to see smaller stores (not of the huge corporate chain variety) still around. I used to come to this store when I was in my early teens. Now I come here with MY kids and its always a blast having them ask what all the systems are (best part about BBG is that they carry EVERYTHING. Atari? Got it. NES? Yup. You name it. Overall its a great store. No attitudes. Beats out competitive prices. And its supporting small business.

Repair service seems subpar. I get that sometimes things simply cant be fixed but it seems like the repair guy doesnt put in much effort. He says he repaired one thing, and when that didnt work, simply gave up. Theres tons of things that might go wrong with a game console, so when a company that makes repairing consoles their business gives up so easily, I question their quality as a repair shop.

I hadnt been in a BBG in years but stopped in last week. I was pleasantly surprised. The store has a cool "wax trax" feel about it. The selection was good. But the rad little guy behind the counter was what made the visit awesome. "V" was very friendly and helpful. If youre looking for something obscure or just the newer games, chances are youll find it. And they do midnight releases.

I guess I didnt meet the store jerk because these guys were super helpful. They didnt have the game I was looking for, but were able to get it and another N64 game they said NONE of the stores had, within two days. And this was all over the phone. They even called me back when they came in! And their price was 1/3 of what I could find used on Amazon.

Myself and a roommate came in late, a few minutes before closing, last week. The gentleman behind the counter was patient and very helpful - even though we were making a lot of requests and stayed way past closing. I appreciate his help and his willingness to be patient with us. He even ordered some games that we will be picking up this week.

Out of 3 total games Ive purchased from BayBack games, 2 of them gave a disc read error within 5 minutes of play. This could have easily been avoided with a little extra time testing the used games they buy. The store was good about exchanging the defective games, but I did not want to have to come back to exchange them in the first place.

Ive been going to the store since 1996. They have always done a good job. My controller broke and they went out of their way to help me, and I got it for a great price. I highly recommend shopping here: they have a great selection of new and used games, classic game consoles, and all those hard to find accessories.

The crew was wonderful. I loved how they joked around with me and my friends. The manager seemed pretty cool. didnt really talk to him thought. I love it there and you guys are so much better then GameStop. I didnt know that there was still a place that offered old games. Thank you and keep up the good work -Ahtiana
