We showed up at the Dollar Tree in Thornton yesterday to buy some final things for my sons birthday party. When we first got there, it was at 10:00am, but there werent any employees there to open the store at the time they are scheduled to open? After waiting around for awhile, and a large crowd growing in size to enter the store, we decided that it would be best if we just come back later to get the stuff on the way to the party. About 3 hours later, we show up to buy the things we need and at the ONE SINGLE cash register open on a busy Sunday afternoon, stood a cranky lady with little to no motivation for her job. I asked if we could get some birthday balloons and she told us that they were out of most of them. With a giant line growing behind us, I felt rushed in picking out balloons and every one that I picked, they were out of, but mostly they just seemed annoyed that we wanted balloons? Is that the part of your job that you cant stand ??AND why are you out of so many balloons? Do you have a manager that takes inventory and orders things that you need? Finally, after them annoying me with their attitudes and lack of inventory, I told them to forget it. Now as Im checking the balance in my account, there are three $5.48 charges authorized on my account for that single trip to Dollar Tree? Dollar Tree employees, get your act together and at least pretend that you care about your job. Ill call the bank today to make sure that Im not being charged 3 different times...thanks. Oh yeah and thank you for being so short staffed, cranky, and unmotivated about your jobs.

Love going here, Everythings a Dollar. Great cashiers, always getting help, when you need it. But they need, to open up more checkout stands. They always have long lines. Sometimes waiting for 10 to 15 minutes to get checked out.

Manager was annoyed when he had to change a $50 bill! Has corporate ever made it mandatory for Employees to attend/pass Customer Service Training? I guess cash is harder for some people to deal with!

Affordable of course but everything has already been opened from their packages and this store has a small range of items. I would only recommend this place for a quick last minute party supply stop.

When ever I go into this store it seems really dis-organized. I will drive out of my way for another dollar store, although in a pinch Ill use this one. It seems hit and miss on what youll get.
