I highly recommend Summit Ford, it’s not your a-typical auto dealership. If you’re looking for a high pressure stressful shopping experience, go elsewhere. If however you want a casual friendly atmosphere where you feel good about the people, have a sense of being taken care of and that your business is important, this is the place. I’ve purchased two trucks so far at Summit Ford and each time it’s been a great experience. Ryan Ramsey is straight shooter and a good person that is always willing to go above and beyond to take care of his customers. His team is quick and efficient which makes the whole buying experience easy and hassle free. By the time I was done working on the paperwork with BJ Psenda in finance, my truck was ready to go, they even took the time to transfer my custom floor mats to my new truck. When it was time to drive off in my new truck, Ryan and BJ asked several times to make sure I didn’t have any questions about any features and let me know they are always around if I ever had questions or needed anything. Truly a unique experience. When it comes to service and maintenance, these guys can’t be beat, Dwayne Huntsman the service manager is on point and very knowledgeable. The team is extremely timely with no waiting around or wondering if your vehicle in good hands. They take the time to explain everything thats been done and make sure you don’t have any questions. Like a lot of people, I typically don’t take the time to write reviews, let alone reviews that express a truly positive experience, but Summit Ford and the team are distinctive.

Ive been in to Summit Ford a couple times just to look at cars before actually having any plans to buy. Stephanie Horbatt and JR Musser were helpful, friendly and professional from the moment I met them! By the time I finally was ready to buy, they knew what I was looking for and the very first car I drove ended up being what I went home with! However, they never made me feel pressured at all throughout the process. They made my trade in extraordinarily easy and I definitely felt comfortable with what they paid me for it. I spent most of the time laughing with Stephanie; shes by far one of the most personable people Ive met and she made the car buying experience (which can be so daunting) as easy as I couldve wished for. This was my first car to buy on my own and I couldnt thank them enough for being so patient with me and all my questions and concerns. Stephanie, JR, and BJ made the whole process so smooth and I when the time comes to buy another car, Ill end up in exactly the same place! I cannot say enough good things about Summit Ford, Ive already recommended them to several people and will continue to do so! They were incredible!

Spoke with service over the phone regarding their local deal on tires known as employee pricing. After being told we have a tire that may work and a substantial wait, I asked can you tell me what tire it is and the final cost for all four and the response was I think theyre $83 a piece, $100 dollars for the install on all four tires and I think Cooper is offering a $60 rebate. Hmmmmmm, are you sure they are $83 a piece was my question and the response was well we just sold those tires and we can have tires for you tomorrow. My questions seemed to be avoided with curtailed answers and a service tech who did not have any exact information on pricing, rebate or actual tire that was being offered. Well Summit Ford never mind supporting local and buying local, you cant even offer answers to the questions asked and, your employee pricing is no deal considering the cost of installation and poor customer service. Therefore, I am going to Denver, even with the extra money I will spend in fuel it will still be less expensive than your "deal" and the customer service on the phone with discount tire is always better.

My vehicle overheated while my family and I were on vacation while pulling our camper up the pass to Eisenhower Tunnel on I-70. The tow company towed us to Summit Ford and we ended up in the right place! They were able to get my vehicle in for an assessment later in the afternoon and while we were waiting we went on some test drives in case my other vehicle needed more work than what the truck was worth. We ended up getting a new truck and our saleswoman (Stephanie) did a fantastic job of answering our questions and helping us find a truck that would meet our needs. The dealership had a nice waiting area for our kids to play and did their best to take care of my family while we were waiting. Even though we were "stuck" in town and didnt have a lot of options, I felt that they treated me fairly and did their best to get our family on the road again so we could complete our vacation. Thank you Stephanie and Summit Ford!

Had a problem with my diesel, I knew something wasnt right. After 4 days or so of having my car there they said they "diagnosed" it (they actually just said they drove it up and down the mountains). Charged me around $200 for 1 hour and a half of "diagnosing". Said nothing was wrong with my car. I take the car back, taking their word for it though it did sound strange, the diagnosis. The next day I have to drive back through the mountains and my car ends up smoking and when I pull over engine is just spilling oil from the engine bay. Had my car towed to the closer Ford dealership near Denver. Im awaiting what the Denver dealership has to say. I cant believe though Summit Ford is charging a sky high price for the most mundane diagnosis they did, and tell me there was no problem! $200+ for a misdiagnosis, no info to give the next Ford dealership about Summit Fords "diagnosis". Such a waste, they will scrounge money from you!

I recently purchased a Ford Escape from Summit Ford and it was certainly the most painless car buying experience I have ever had. The vehicle that I originally came in looking for had just been sold and JR found me the same one for a similar price and had it delivered from Glenwood Springs. There were no issues throughout the entire process and the best part is I didnt have to spend an entire day signing papers and waiting around. I was able to go home while they took care of the financing and came back later in the afternoon to sign and picked up the car the following day. A big plus is that I do not have to go to Denver in order to get my vehicle serviced in the future. Very convenient. Im glad that I was able to buy locally and I will be recommending Summit Ford to anyone else looking to for a vehicle.

I took my F150 in for service this past week for numerous issues and maintenance. I couldnt be more happy with the service, cost and communication at this dealership. Cody in particular was very helpful, keeping me apprised of what needed to be done, what didnt, and when it would be ready. I have an extended warranty that they researched as to what would be covered and again kept me informed. They checked my differential fluid and found it was good even though another dealership said it should be changed at 75,000 miles. They kept a tech late one evening to finish up the other items, and even sent a car to pick me up at my business due to the inclement weather. I am extremely happy with the service at Summit Ford and will be taking my truck there from now on.
