Fantastic in all aspects! I just had my first tattoo done at Faith Tattoo Gallery yesterday. Ive wanted a tattoo for a while and finally had it designed. I searched around the Denver area and this was the one shop I found with great reviews and that offered vegan inks. I walked in on Friday afternoon and spoke with the guys about all the specifics of getting a tattoo. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a friendly smile and great service. Nate and Matt were the first two I met, followed by Terry and Steve (and the two cute pups, can only remember Stellas name). I came back the next day for my appointment and got everything set up and ready to go. Matt was excellent, really making sure this was right for me and set up properly. He set up the equipment and explained everything to me, including the safety and the research he did on the inks to assure me that he was using the vegan ink. Throughout the process of the tattoo, I chatted with Matt and there were conversations with the other artists as well. Its a very friendly place. It was over in about an hour and it looks better than I ever would have expected. I had a professional calligrapher design it for me in honor of my late father and Matt nailed it. It looks exactly the same and even the calligrapher was shocked at how good it looked. Ill never go anywhere else if I decide to get another one. Faith is excellent. Love the decor and openness as well. Bravo, Faith!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! I went to Faith Tattoo for a consultation for a tat -- I had my own artwork already, so I figured this would be pretty straightforward. I was greeted at the door by a nice/older gentlemen. I told him what I had and what I wanted. He asked me to hold on for a moment, and stepped outside of the shop to summon an artist that was out by the curb, smoking a cigarette. In came this young (20s ?), stoned, strung-out dude who never once looked me in the face. I showed him my artwork, and asked him how long it would take him to do the tat. He said, "Uhhhh, I dunno, an hour, or two, or maybe three". I asked him what he would charge, and he said, "I dunno, $100, maybe $200, maybe more, maybe less". Then (can you BELIEVE IT?!?), he sealed the deal when he said, "And Im not gonna wasted my time with all this detail in your artwork, cause eventually its just going to fade and bleed together some day anyway, so its not worth my time". Your you F****ING KIDDING ME?!?. I will NEVER set foot in this place again. I was so put off and insulted by this jerk. This is honest, and it was my actual experience. Maybe yours was different (I went there because this place had good reviews), but in my opinion, this place is the worst tattoo parlor I have EVER been in (and Ive been in hundreds of them)!!

This review is based on artist Nick P not Faith Tattoo. From reviews and reputation, Faith seems like an amazing shop. I worked with Nick when he was at his prior shop location and had a consultation and put down my deposit for a large tat. Communication after the consultation was very hard and limited. He did not respond to most communication/questions and I was hard pressed to know where he was at with the actual design and his creative standpoint. A few days prior to our first session he texted me and informed me he was switching shops to one that was in a complete opposite location and what I wanted to do. He also mentioned having a studio in Denver but when I inquired on the address on 3 different occasions, he avoided the question and never told me. I let him know that I couldnt go to the golden location and asked for a PARTIAL refund of my deposit. He was rude in response, refused and try to pin it on his old shop even though it was a direct payment to him. I would be wary working with this artist.

I searched for a Christian to do my ink because the art would come from his heart and mind and on to my body. I found Faith Tattoo Gallery and Terry and had to put faith in him and his ability to take my idea and conjure it up from thin air. He made me the most beautiful piece of art Ive ever seen. His beautiful wife and daughter came to visit him and bring him coffee. They were wonderful people and made us feel like family. The parlor is ornately decorated and clean as a whistle in every way. Terry even made sure to preserve the dignity of a young woman being inked across from me by asking one of his employees to make sure she was covered up properly. This is what a strong Christian leader does. Terry talks the talk and walks the walk. His employees are great guys with lots to chat about. I loved his work so much Im in the middle of another piece on my other shoulder. I have found my home... Thanks Terry! God Bless! ~Z

AKA: The Tooth Fairy, Carrie, Whatever Matt calls me when I come in. Its all about Matt!!!!! :) Matt and Nick (God Bless Him in his Journeys affar).....both great guys. As a female, I have always felt comfortable with all of the work they have done for me. Matt is such a caring family man who has a great personality and understood my personality. He worked with this and knew just what to do with my ink and continues to do so. I would fully trust him with everything! Nate...fantastic attitude and have seen his awesome work. Hes always a ray of sunshine to see when I come in. By the way, I thinkg hes a day time philosopher and musician in his free time! Terry, professional owner and all around great guy and family man! I would highly recommend any of these guys to take good care of your body art!!

Ive been tattooed by both Nate and Matt and both experiences were extremely pleasant! Nate is so creative and incredibly talented. Matt is very thoughtful about his work and gave me a very clean tattoo. The atmosphere is fun and laid back - I felt comfortable right away. The shop is also really sanitary, which was important to me. They are willing to work with your design and take their custom artistry seriously. They make suggestions for what they think will look best, but they consider your perspective as well. I love this shop and even though I relocated to Oklahoma this year, I cant wait to get back into the shop for my next tattoo!

After three tattoos from Faith Tattoo Gallery (FTG), I continue to be highly impressed. The artists are experienced, talented and friendly. The sterility standards are at the top end of the industry. The atmosphere is welcoming and the design of the interior is amazing. I assume that you could pay a little less at other shops, but considering what a tattoo is, I think the extra investment is well worth it. I especially recommend FTG if you are jonesing for your first tattoo but feeling a little intimidated and unfamiliar with the whole process. Go for it with FTG!
