Went from the best pharmacy in town, the only one who always had my meds in stock, to the worst. Went to fill my daily meds that I depend on to function on a Wednesday, it was out of stock and would take a week to come in. Said ok, even tho Id have to go 3 days without it, since its an new electronic rx for a controlled substance, and without a paper rx, pharmacies wont tell you if they have it in stock, so I could go elsewhere without a lot of hassle. I confirm with them the morning before its supposed to arrive, on Tuesday, and they said yes, its on its way. Then an hour later, when I went to pick up a different rx, Im informed it will not be arriving because they dont have that supplier anymore and so will not be stocking it indefinitely. Fast forward 3 days. My daughter gets pink eye on a Friday evening. Luckily, the answering service for her doc calls in antibiotic eye drops, one of the most common medications in the world, to this location. It was too late to pick it up that night. At 9:30 am I get a call as Im getting ready to go pick it up (her eyes were glued shut with green discharge that morning) saying it was out of stock and wouldnt arrive til late in the day on Sunday. So now waiting for the answering service, yet again. They have such wonderful young ladies working at that pharmacy- I was glad they were still there after the switch to CVS. I can only imagine how frustrated they must be. Oh, and those great red pill bottles are gone- my early arthritic hands hurt too bad to use the old style bottles 3 times a day, but I cant keep a controlled substance around my toddlers without a child safety cap. CVS ruined the best pharmacy in town.

Extremely disappointed in this pharmacy. Ive worked in retail and customer service throughout my life and would have never treated a customer like I was treated over the weekend! I got pinkeye and Target Optical was extremely helpful in working around their busy schedule to get me in and get me a prescription at the end of a busy Saturday. I arrived there just before 6 and ran over to the pharmacy after getting my prescription. It had just turned 6pm and the pharmacists had all the computers shut down. I asked if they were closing already and the woman at the counter said, "You have 10 seconds." First off - rude response. I explained the situation and that I just rushed over from Target Optical and was trying to pick up my eye drops. The group of gals working there just stared at me and the woman shrugged and said, "Sorry, were closed, maybe try another pharmacy." Went to the Walgreens across the street who, also almost closing, took the time to get me my prescription. Needless to say I will NEVER go to the pharmacy and they will NEVER have my business. It is a shame, because I used to use Target Pharmacy all the time. Never will at this location, they were absolutely awful.

I was getting my medicines from this branch for the past few years. Yesterday I went there to get my flight anxiety pills (Propranolol and Valium). since I have a flight next week. They made me wait for 20 minutes and told me that they have to verify my prescription with my doctor. I asked them what it was that they are gonna verify. They blabbered something like daily dosage is not specified which was not true, because on the prescription it says do not exceed 6 pills daily. I told them I dont use them everyday, only when I fly, so why do you need the daily dosage. They had to blabber again because you cannot say to a customers face that We think you are a drug addict and this prescription is most probably fake.So we are gonna call your doctor. I am guessing my non-caucasian face should also be very alarming for them. Anyway, I took back my prescriptions and went to a Walgreens. They were ready in half an hour without being treated as a drug addict. It might be an isolated situation but I dont want to work with a company who treats me as a drug addict and I am not even sure whether I was subjected to racism or not. No more Target anymore.

Constantly have had awful experiences at this pharmacy. Im always treated like I dont know anything about the intramuscular injections Ive been doing every two weeks for a year and a half now. The cost of my generic prescription was the same for nearly a year until I moved and transferred my prescription to this pharmacy. Now the cost of my generic prescription has gone up by $5 every time Ive picked it up for the past three refills now. I was told by the woman working there that the discount card they use to run my prescription (since my insurance wont cover it) has prices that fluctuate like gas prices. I told her these price changes didnt start happening until I transferred to this new pharmacy and all I got was a restrained anger in her voice telling me that was how it worked. In the past, Ive been treated like a child when they dont communicate clearly about what refills I have left and act like Im in the wrong whenever they make a mistake. I am never using this pharmacy again. Theyre unprofessional, theyre rude, and they have zero customer service skills.

The pharmacists do not pay attention to directions, and put themselves before their customers. They will commit to special ordering a medication, then when you come to pick it up, it will be replaced by the generic alternative. Instead of acknowledging that they made a mistake, youll get a lecture. Then when you try to change to a new pharmacy, theyll then tell you it was the doctor who wrote the prescription for the other generic (although you are the one that dropped off the prescription that clearly noted the specific generic you wanted AND the text message alerts directly from CVS clearly note the prescription you requested). Expect incredibly poor service, long turnaround times, no empathy and a lot of waiting around at this pharmacy.

I would rate this pharmacy a negative number if I could. I went in to fill a prescription and they gave me the wrong one. I need a particular brand for my medicine that even my doctor agreed to and wrote me a script for. I called in when I noticed it was incorrect and they said that its basically the same thing and that I should just take it. The male on the phone gave me a lecture about how generic is basically the same thing as the brand name and I understand that but for my medication, I cant be switching constantly on brands. The male also had a bad attitude with me. It was horrible customer service and I am very disappointed. The CVS I normally went to would gladly fix their mistake but these pharmacists are unprofessional.

I have to second what Lisa wrote a couple of months ago. The Target pharmacy in Glendale used to be one of the best around. Those of us who have multiple, regular medications know what I mean! The switch to CVS has been so discouraging!! Its another move in Americans big business consumptions that diminishes or eliminates consumers choices. Awful. I have been as patient and tolerant as possible because to move everything to another, less convenient pharmacy is a hassle . . . but time will tell. As usual, its a money making decision by executives and everyone else just has to shuffle. Disgusted.
