In a word, transcendent! Last week I was on a mission to find pork bellies to cure my own bacon. I found Sawa on my belly quest, and its very close to me. I saw they made their own Kielbasa and bacon, so I was in. ~ Great little market / deli / butcher. ~ Two Polish women working there were very friendly and funny. ~ Prices are more than fair for quality meats. $2.99 / lb for Kielbasa & $6.00 / lb for bacon. I will be back, give Sawa a try. If you need pork belly, they will sell it to you just call ahead.

This store is small and, like another reviewer stated, not a hipster butchershop. Its kind of like an old-world family market. If you like Polish sausages, its the real deal. And if you speak Polish (I dont), you can have a nice chat with the friendly staff.

Their sausages are decent, but a bit expensive per pound. No other options in the state for Polish foods, so cant complain. Wish the prices for pierogi, Naleczowianka and the grocery items were cheaper. About double what you pay here in Chicago.
