This particular store is clean and has its own gas station. I havent met a perfect grocery store that has the best prices and selection all of the time. I go to Safeway for their sale items. Their Friday through Sunday club card sales have amazing prices. A nice feature that they have is if you go to their website and sign up for a club card account, you can download coupons to your club card that automatically redeem at the register instead of clipping the paper coupons from their weekly ad. Safeway also has some tasty made-to-order sandwiches in their deli, but the quality of the sandwich can vary depending on who makes it. Since the deli staff has the duties of running a grocery store deli, their sandwich making consistency isnt as good as that of a standalone sandwich restaurant. If you shop for organic produce, you may want to go elsewhere. At this particular location, the organic produce is relegated to one small island so their selection is very limited.

ask yourself how many times you have resorted to calling store you are in via google maps to get someone to help you find something? there is no central directory thats obvious in this store. extremely frustrated that I could not locate anyone to help me during what was supposed to be brief visit. no directory is truly amazing. one check-out person and self-check lady busy -- no one else to be seen. I walked the entire store looking for something completely easy. this store will die a quick death unless Broomfield drops property taxes to save it and this lack-luster suburban mini-mall, etc. the King Soopers on 136th and Zuni is in another league. suggest you go no further...

The young man in the Starbucks who Name Escapes me right now, possibly Gavin, was super great and even though Im not a big fan of shopping at Safeway I happened to be in there and he was wonderful. The store is very clean. I think the front end managers could use some retraining on how to talk to people especially their staff, the courtesy clerks and I dont think theyd appreciate it either. Its going to be management I think its important you know how to talk to people with some semblance of respect

Staff is fairly friendly most of the time. Produce and meat is often fresh while the shelves are always stocked with everything you need. This location lacks some of the ingredients you may find necessary for more "ethnic" dishes. Other than that this store is neat and never dirty. This location is managed exceptionally well and always provides great service during even the busiest holiday seasons.

They removed the self checkout for some stupid reason and there is always a long line. Im here to buy something and get out as fast as possible, not exchange pleasantries with cashiers. And no I dont need my receipt. Cashiers generally treat me with palpable apathy. I know its probably not a fun job but come on. Also super expensive. Go to King Soopers or Sprouts instead.

I have finally had it. Ive been coming here for years and I cant tell you how many times the coke machine has been out of order. I get my wife a Starbucks and get myself a coke (dont like coffee). Worst than how often the ice doesnt work or syrup is out, etc is the employees lack of care when you bring it up. So glad King Soopers built a new store by me...

Wouldve given 0 Star if possible. Absolutely worst grocery store!! No one to help, check out or do just about anything. Very poor selection and ALWAYS out of few good things it (occasionally) carries. Unfortunately since its the closest grocery store to us we REALLY hope it closes down and gets replaced with a reputable store.

The people there are often rude, the meat department goes out of their way not to help people. The bagger they have working during the day is terrible at bagging she overloads them especially produce causing my produce to fall on the pavement. Seriously is there a bag shortage?

I really like this store. The location is convenient and the grocery selection is good. It is extremely disappointing that the self checkout stations have been removed. I have no idea why this was done, but it was a bad decision. Definitely not a customer -friendly decision.

I rarely go to Safeway because they never have a selection of products or Brands I want or am comfortable with. Their store brand never labels of items are gluten free and if I find something I need it is always more expensive than king soopers

This store has an AMAZING staff. Their store manager, Starbucks manager and the floral department went ABOVE AND BEYOND to serve me and they helped me make my Aunts birthday very special - unforgettable really! THIS is a great store!!!

Other stores have better selection of fresh food and dont require a card to get decent deals. The bakery at this Safeway also frequently disappoints. Its good for prepackaged foods, eggs, milk, etc. when youre in a hurry.

Ya know its no wonder Safeway bottomed out. Every time I decide to give this Safeway another chance.....the employees here are very rude and seemed agitated at everything and everyone...even the manager.

Im not a huge fan of Safeway. Stores are usually poorly decorated / designed and just feel old to me. This one is nice though. Clean, Well lit, well stocked and the staff is nice.

Came at 5:23 and its empty. What else do you want. Staff I dealt with was friendly and professional showed me where baking soda was. No lines at check out.

convenient but it is the most expensive grocery store in town I will pay $3.50 at Safeway for something that I would pay $1.50 for Walmart or King Soopers

Watch out! They often sell groceries thst are past their expiration dates. Seriously. Check out those dates before you buy food there.
