Hmmmmm, where do I start. I grew up with in this neighborhood and this store has been here for as long as I can remember. The price of things in there are RIDICULOUS. Not to mention hes selling things that are months past the expiration date. I was buying yogurt and noticed that it had expired three months prior. I brought this to the owners attention and he assured me that all of it would be removed ( it wasnt) I went back in there a week later and the same yogurt was still sitting there. I told an employee and only then was it removed. I went in there a few days later to purchase refried beans, and omg, the date was for October of last year, not one or two bags, but all of them. Once again I brought it to the owners attention and attitude was all I got, he snatched the bag out of my hand and walked off. Unfortunately I live next door and sometimes its easier to walk there instead of driving to another store. I wish they would puta neighborhood Walmart store in place of this!

Its a good restaurant that give you alot of food for a little of nothing $5. The revalation our Lord say practice not usury which is greed and share what he put on earth for all to live off of, and not sale nothing for a price but this place over all is not of greed and may our Maker be please with them on the day of judgment so they want go to the hell fire like the greedy ones who practice usury! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The lady who works at the western union place a the end of the store should get fired. She was extremly rude to me and my children, excessive makeup, vulgar lanuage and revealing clothes. Everyone else there was sweet and helpful. I dont understand how a great places employs trash like that lady.

I would not recommend anyone going to this store. There is loitering outside the market. The selection is the market is abysmal and most of the produce was over ripe or rotten. For example the spinach was excessively wilted. Also, on the way out my girlfriend was harassed. I recommend going to King Soopers or Safeway.

Very rude owner. The employees are amazing but he verbally harasses them. Very few products, with nothing stocked. Hours are strange and it is often closed even though it says it should be open. Many people outside who are very sketchy. I would avoid shopping here if you can.

Used to be a good place under the old owner now the meats are not really that great but theyre okay hi price little convenience store but its all good for the neighborhood not really too high prices on everything else meats are not as good as they used to be

This place is different. Convenient if you live in the area and need to grab something. Im sure the shopping experience can be unsettling for some. Definitely loitering in the parking lot. Liquor store next door. It is what it is.

Downing Supermarket is a icon for North East Denver they have been a ma&pop store for over 40 years, they have a great meat selection and the staff are super nice.
