Well, it all started when I went into Walmart to get a friend for my shark. It was in the evening. There was some very dead fish in the tank that had the sharks in & all the fish were in the other corner freaking out! Anyway took only one home & was second guessing myself the whole way home, because the young ladies that work there, were saying that all the fish in one of the tanks the day before were all dead! But against my better judgement I got one took it home & put it in the tank, & I could see the fins were torn & ragged, it just didnt look like it was in good shape. Thought maybe it will get better, but next morning it was dead. I fished it out quickly as I have some perfect looking fish, show worthy & not cheap, plus they are part of the family, I didnt want them stressed out. I took a closer look at it and the gills on the fish were green. I took the fish back to the store that evening. The lady behind the customer service desk made a huge stink about me taking the fish back. It was in a zip lock bag with a bit of water in case they wanted to test the water. She told everyone around her "shes returning a dead fish." I felt like I was doing something wrong the way she was going on. The lady behind her said thats happened before. I felt completely humiliated & my husband who was behind me the whole time was getting very feed up with the way the young lady was making a fuss. Well after the return was finished with, I thought, Ill go take a look see if they had any healthy looking sharks, & what I saw broke my heart. The dead fish from the day before were still in the tank & the sharks were in a bad way too. One had growths on its lips. They were still all in the same corner. So I went back to the service desk & let another lady know. She was much more understanding & listen to everything I had to say. She didnt answer back or try to argue with me, she just listened. She assured me she would let my manager know right away & get it sorted out. So I got home today & my shark at home thats nearly a year old, has small white lumps on one of his fins. So now I have to medicate all my fish. Thank you very much Walmart! Please take care of your fish or dont carry them! Worse of all, I regularly shop here & have had a few things happen that should never happen to a customer. I think their staff forgot who pays their wages. Etiquette goes a long way! Ive heard employees on their mobiles swearing their heads off, & I mean the f boom, while they should be working, picked up a product that had a $5.98 sign right in front of it. Got to the register & it rang up $24.99. Asked them to check & they took the price tag out then came back & said no it was $24.99. I wouldnt of picked it up if it said $24.99. I know the sign was there, Im not stupid, I do have a college education behind me, so now I take photos just in case! Stopped a fellow about a month after about a tool that was on a peg with a $3.99 sticker on & the item was obviously much more. So I told him. He just gave me a evil eye & just walked away & left the product on the peg with the wrong price tag. I guess he must of been having a bad day! The only reasons I go back is its on the way home from work, price & its open 24 hours.

Stepped in to grab something quick while on this side of town and was found this WalMart to be clean and the employees friendly Im not the WalMart-shopper kind of guy. In fact, I only ever enter a WalMart when nothing else is available (or my mom sends me a WalMart gift card, for some ungodly reason). So, when I walked into this store I was pleasantly surprised. Granted, I didnt make it much past the cashiers, what I needed was in the front of the store, but everything appeared clean, orderly and stocked. This was about 6PM on a Tuesday. The few store employees I spoke with were courteous and helpful, even when I FUBARd the self-checkout machine. This visit didnt change my opinion on WalMarts, they still buy all their products from China and treat their employees like crap, but my experience as a shopper wasnt anything to complain about. Keep in mind, I dont shop at WalMarts often and this is the first time Ive ever been to this particular store, so I really dont have a good basis of comparison. Considering I cant imagine giving a WalMart 5 stars and I didnt particularly Like the experience, I think three stars is pretty damn good.

The grocery pickup service is a joke. I arrived for my pickup scheduled for between 5 and 7pm at 5:50 and called to let them know I was there, as instructed. The plan was to pick it up after work and go to the pharmacy on the way home. At 5:50, they told me that the truck that is apparently instrumental to the pickup service was running late and was expected to arrive in 30 minutes. Fine. Whatever. I went to the bank and came back. Called again at 6:30. Truck still wasnt there. I was assured it would only be another 15 minutes before I had my order. At 6:45, another customer that had arrived while I was gone received their order. At 7, I called again. The truck had apparently just arrived and they were preparing my order. At 7:20, yet another customer who had arrived at 7 received their order. Asked the guy who had brought it out about the status of my order and he acted like he had no idea there was anyone else waiting. Gave me the same excuse about the truck being unloaded. I left. No order. No compensation. Just left and called customer service on my way home. P.S. It was too late to get to the pharmacy.

I (more accurately "we" -- my wife and I) frequently shop at Walmart. We have never had a bad experience. Price is important; quality, as well. "Great Value" goods actually live up to their name. I was skeptical to begin with; no more. Recent examples: always bought Philadelphia Cream Cheese. No longer. Today bought GV LED lightbulbs. I would not be surprised to find out they are made by GE. (Ask me in 10 years.) Also, I depend on unit pricing, to be able to compare products "apples to apples." Kroger/King Soopers used to furnish "price/oz" or "price/lb" info, but now? Now, not easy to find this info there. Perhaps, the answer is that Walmarts unit prices consistently are lower. Checkers are pleasant and competent, premises kept clean. No complaints. Keep up the good work.

I never do reviews.... but this group of morning (6:30 a.m.) "employees" are a group of lazy morons. The self-checkout lady had an attitude like you wouldnt believe , even though Im doing her job scanning and bagging my own groceries. Her co-worker when I asked for them to unlock the dressing rooms told me that somebody on the floor has the keys. You expect me as a customer to hunt somebody down for some keys when I dont even know who they are or who has the one set of keys? When I asked him to page somebody he threw a little fit and it took him about 10 minutes actually page somebody. I dont know if I should call the employees morons or the manager for hiring them. This was my last draw at Walmart. I will not shop at Target I will not stop at Walmart anymore ever
