Manager is on a serious power trip. I ship literally thousands of packages through FedEx every year for my business, but the manager at this location (which is right by my warehouse) has decided that my packaging is "inadequate" and wont accept my packages any longer. I can take my packages to any other FedEx Office location and theyll accept them. I can load dozens of packages onto my FedEx drivers van when Im getting daily pickups during my busy season, and they always accept them. When I get really busy FedEx is literally dropping off semi trailers that I load with hundreds of packages, and there is never an issue. But when I want to drop off a single one of these same packages at this FedEx Office location in Arvada, the manager has decided that the packages arent acceptable and wont take them. Its really petty. He just wants to flex what little power he has, I guess. After I filed an official complaint with FedEx corporate he even called the Broomfield hub where all their packages are sent through to try and get the station manager on his side, but the Broomfield hub manager agrees that the thousands of packages I send through them are just fine. Unfortunately theres nothing I can do about it because this location is independently owned and FedEx corporate cant/wont step in to get this silly little local manager in line and get him off his power trip. What a pain in the ass.

Placed an online order and got a call the next day that the items were ready to pick up. GREAT! Went in, took a look at them, they were a MESS. The tabs where crumpled and the hole punches where misaligned to the point that most of the holes where half off the page and would fall right out of a binder. They were unsalvageable so I had them redone and left. Later, when I received a phone call from the store telling me they were redone and ready to be picked up the employee referred to the original set as "damaged". I said, no they were not damaged they were done incorrectly and you need to check your work. When went in to pick them up they had had a shift change. I told the new employee what had happened and asked for a discount since they wasted my time he told me that since I was "crying about it" he would give me a discount. EXCUSE ME? Crying about it? I wasnt crying, I was calling you out on your inadequacy. You did a crap job and expected to get paid the full amount? Are you crazy? Misogyny at its finest folks. I tried to get in touch with the actual store owner but was only transferred to the manager on duty and he was one of the people who I was calling to complain about so that was useless. Needless to say, I will not be bringing any more business to them and I urge you not to as well.

This location has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I was shipping a laptop and the manager came over and said I had to have a special label and a P/N for the battery in the laptop. Mind you this laptop was just shipped to me w/o any of these less than a month ago. I mentioned this and he had a big attitude. I asked if we could pull the laptop out to get the info. as I already had it packaged. He said in a very negative tone, we dont have those labels here and cant help you. Ok great, you do have computers with internet access though, right. So we could have found the info. and printed it but I was done and didnt want to give him my money. Guess what, I went to the UPS Store and a very nice woman took my laptop package and shipped it without any questions. I just had to sign a couple pieces of paper. This is the difference between making money and failing. I hope your corporate office realizes how much business you just lost as I ship packages often and will tell all of my employees to never use this store or FedEx again. Look at the other reviews, Im not the first and Im sure I wont be the last for this egotistical manager. Cest la vie.

Can I give no stars? Obviously not. I brought violin packed in hard case and in the paper cartoon box wrapped with tape "Fragile Handle With Care". After waiting in the line for some time : one person at the desk. The employee walked to me and asked what is in the box. I told him that its a violin, prepaid label and that I need the receipt. I thought he is to step on the box or sit on it trying to prove that the packaging is inadequate. The box is mine and he suggested buying on from FedEx. If I needed I would but I post and ship cellos and violins almost every week. I know how fragile are instruments and how to pack. This was just obscure explanation that the packages go in the truck, get dropped and loaded on the top with heavier boxes. I tried to reason that thats why the item is packed as FRAGILE. I walked out and took the Office Max FedEx shipping location. I asked for the person name and got the card with the store address.

They make it clear they think youre an idiot if you ask a question about the self-serve options. Rude employees for the second time now. Slow equipment, ancient scanner that was off so I paid by the minute to turn it on and warm it up. Cant save docs to a thumb drive but had to save to their hard drive - "dont know why" was the explanation. And again, it seemed to annoy the person when I asked for help. No sorry, no nothing. I will avoid this location in the future.

I went in for a small but urgent print job. There were a few problems with the files which were entirely my fault. Two different employees happily tag teamed my project to troubleshoot, fix the problem, and get it done quickly. They had to juggle other customers so they could help me. I experienced excellent customer service and I will definitely use this location again.

Poor service. Only one person there. Previously had a similar job done in a different location and they designed the whole thing, printed it and handed it to me within 10 minutes. This person said it had to be sent somewhere and there would be a minimum charge of $50 for them to design it. Funny how it wasnt that way in a better location.

Allison Marie at FedEx arvada is simply the Best Customer Service person I have ever Met, I came in (literally) with an impossible problem and she went above and beyond to service my every need!!! My Wife and I will be moving all of our business to FedEx office Arvada. Great Job Allison and FedEx . B

Worst Fedex center in town. Always a terrible experience. 9 times out of 10 they will refuse to accept packages that you pack yourself so they can sell you packaging. Absolutely unacceptable. And Im a commercial account

This place has become more and more unreliable. 2 out of the last 3 times, Ive been turned away with an excuse for why they cant scan something. Instead Ive had to go across town to the Wadsworth or the Golden location.
