Thumbs down for Whittier Home Depot 6684 Store Although there are a few helpful associates at this location, mainly the contractors desk, the manager and the assistant manager are simply rude, unknowledgable and lacking in customer service skills. All this talk about price match guarantee is false. I purchase at this store very often, however, I also shop at other Home Depots. When I decided to take a discounted price offered at another Home Depot location to this store, it was quite difficult for them to honor the price. Its approximatley a $90 difference in price for the goods I was purchasing. The assistant manager sits in the back of the store and wont come out. She even told the associate to tell me to go to another store and buy the product. The manager then came out and began playing around on the computer to get me the price I paid for the same product at 6657 store. Meanwhile, I sit there for 15-20 minutes wasting my time. I find it mind-boggling that Home Depot offers what they call a price match guarantee, HA!!! THEY CANT EVEN MATCH THEIR OWN STORE PRICES! What a joke. It seems as if Home Depot has returned to 2005 customer service where the aisles are like ghost towns with no one to help you out, only this time, the poor customer service has spread to the managers.

Service there is spotty at best if you can get an employee to look your direction. They know you are there so save yourself on the suspense. Who moves first to help between the two employees facebooking in the aisles is anybodys guess. Product knowledge is limited to its location in store. Dont ask floor associates or service desk too many questions, youll distract them away from their daily gossip gatherings in strategic locations through out the store. Too too many women that know nothing except where a man is to help you instead. They wont hesitate to ask a contractor to help with a paying customer either, seen that too. The HD employee carefully silently dips down an aisle, leaving the contractor to fend for himself. They act like NASA but theyre really nada.

Espere por más de 40 minutos para que alguien sacara mi material de la tienda pero no al parecer no les importan los clientes por tan poco o mucho que invierten en la tienda. Well, its a popular place w/a diverse customer base. Outside, the pedestrians blindly claim the right of way. Inside, some carts charge thru, some carts glide along and avoid trouble. Some items are there regularly, some items sell out w/a gap before resupply, some items are one time only. Bake goods are great, meat is great, wines are great, Kirkland hard liquor is great. Fruit is great but pricey. Some items are in-bulk and require storage space. If youre a shopper, you can buy what you need (for 2) for less money. Best regards.

My fiance who had been working there for 5 years was fired last week on Wednesday and still havent received his last pay not only that grant fired him Wednesday didnt process his paper work til the following monday homedeopt doesnt care for there employees they over work them and underpay them the way they treat their employees is horrible pick and choose who they help very unprofessional environment behind the scenes great with customers horrible with there employees

Very organized, helpful and polite. Mr. Bob is always helpful with any questions I may have. In addition to great service; the store offers a craft sunday on the first of each month. It is free for parents or grandparents to work on a craft with their child. They provide a mini apron with the childs name on it. Also included is an achievement pin, juice and a snack for participating guests. Staff is on hand and very friendly. I definetly recommend it! A+

I asked an associate for help to unlock the spray paint locker. I have always been helped by associates that are helpful & very friendly! But today was an exception! The associate was very rude & didnt care to help me find what My Husband specifically sent me to purchase for his motorcycle! I basically helped my self locate the items while the associate just stood there waiting to lock the spray paint locker back up! VERY RUDE!!!!!!!

Had excellent customer service experience today. I have a Comercial account and had my card stolen. Ive yet to receive the replacement so I have to go thru the credit department to do purchases which is a real pain. Todays cashier Brandyrea was excellent. She was polite helpful and especially patient. She made this transaction painless. Great job!

Bad service, I requested a help because at outside nursery area was closed with a fence and waiting for more than 15 minutes a guy appeared saying gonna help me , but on the way to open the fence disappeared. So I spent 30 minutes for nothing there are not staff for help the customer, they are walking around but simulating busy..

The layout takes some adjusting. I was getting frustrated with the layout of the store but now Im used to it. The staff are awesome friendly and helpful. I really enjoy shopping at this one because their shelves are always stocked, clean, and organized. I also love that some items related to the season are at the front.

This Store sucks!! Pro desk is beyond slow people come and just saying "Ill be right with u" and they never come they just look at their computers like their lost. Another guy at electrical thats supposed to be helping me just wonders off to help other ppl wtf!? Never again

In a emergency you buy a water heater at the warehouse not online, you dont need it later!! you need it now!! with the online price!!, we talk to the sales person, he didnt care, Im there and have the money, sale it!!, but they lost out went to Lowes.
