I had some furniture that I needed to get rid so I went online to see if the goodwill would take it. It states it takes all donations and if unable to sell they would recycle it or despose of it properly. So I took my couch which was damage on the bottom. My son and I whom is 14 struggled to put it in my truck and drive it to the goodwill. We get there and start to unload the cushions and a futon and put it inside the store. Obe of the workers come out and says we cant take this mattress. I told him its not a mattress its a futon. He asked wheres the rest of it. I told him we had to throw it away because it was damaged. He said sorry we cant take this and got the futon, walked it out to my truck and leaned it against. He also said we cant take the couch because the fabric is damaged and unable to sell it and got the cushions and leaned against my truck. I was so upset. I never been treated so disprespectful. I told him I thought the GOODWILL took everything and if unable to sell it you can recycle it. Thats what it says on your website. The manager came out and said sorry we cant take. I told him the same thing. He could not give me an answer or an appropriate comment. He practically kicked us out and didnt even help my son and I put the stuff back in the truck. I will never donate there again.

Just got back from the goodwill in Whittier and I had to spread the word. GW only has so much control over their selection, but on this day (and other days Ive been in there) the selection has been excellent. I was greeted by a staff member, the music was above average, the dressing room was clean (Ive seen horror stories in other GW dressing rooms) and the staff members that were at checkout were friendly and FUNNY with their loudspeaker announcements. Great job guys.

I filled out community service here for a traffic violation so I got to know the staff, regular customers, and business. Its a great place to buy quality clothes for one heck of a low price. The staff is super friendly, and informative and quick to assist you. This was one places that I worked where everyone was respectful and actually helped.

I went in there looking for dress shoes for myself instead I found two pairs of casual shoes, about seven tops four shorts all for my granddaughter that she actually liked and oh yeah a blouse for myself. My granddaughter was sure there would be nothing here for her and I saved a ton of money wow

They ran out of receipts for ALL registers. Waited in line forever! Overpriced for stuff that was "donated", all dirty too! Check out SAVERS, they have more reasonable prices and you dont feel so cheated for buying something that was initially "donated".

I always find something for my son and I. From jackets to jeans and shirts there are almost always some very good deals. Every once on a while he finds a toy that he really wants and gets into saving money and helping people.

Well walked in. Employees are not very helpful. I saw an office chair, it had one price on it, sadly it fell off. She called for a price of the chair. And it went up three times the original price. wow! So I left it.

Its a goodwill so be prepared to go through tons of items before finding something good. This one seems to always be full to the brink but I havent always found anything good.
