Disappointed in this Petcos customer service. I usually shop at the one in the west side , the checker at the westside always gives me a coupon book every time theres a new one. Well I forgot mine at home today since I didnt truly intent on stopping but it was a kitty food emergency and had no choice. When I went to pay I asked the young lady for a book and explained to her I forgot mine. Well Tere (the cashier) refused to provide me with one. I told her all I wanted was the coupon I have the book at home and she said that was nearly impossible because only new pals members get them. I asked her then what was the point of the pals membwrship? and she continued to state she never herd of such a thing and refused to help me. I made my purchase anyway but was really disappointed in the way she handled it and did not care to properly explain instead she kept insisting that "she never herd such a thing". Ive been shopping with petco for years and am constantly saving street animals so a discount here and there is nice.

Ive been here only twice and both times Ive been frustrated and disappointed by the lack of quality customer service and their level of professionalism. They always have a shortage of employees (seems like only one is always at the register, one on the floor and one always on his break). I asked one of the employees for some aquatic plants and instead of sending someone else to assist me he just left to take his break when he said hed be right back to assist me. When I asked for a chinchilla cage that was placed way out of my reach it took them 20 minutes for them to tell me theyd assist me and then 10 more minutes to figure out how to use a price gun. What really struck a nerve was the shabby attitude towards every service I requested. I honestly dont intend on going back unless one of my pets is in dire need of medical attention. Id rather drive the extra mile or two from now on and Id suggest you do the same.

This is the worst PETCO Ive ever been to. Went to get fish and NOBODY came to help me. I went to the checkout and asked the cashier to get someone. She called the Guy and I went and stood by the fish. I heard her call him again after a few minutes. After standing by the fish area for literally 11 minutes with no help I just left the store. From now on I will just go to PetSmart in Downey Landing. It was cleaner with more employees and they walk around the store greet u and ask if they can HELP YOU! They have more products and better prices! Thanks for screwing up PETCO, your horrible service was my gain in the end!

They are not helpful! I bought something online and wanted to return it and I brought the slip that came with the online order. She said that I had to go to my online account but since I bought it as a guest I dont have an online account. They would not let me return it. I had all the emails and the price of the item and the info and they would not let me return it. Plus their corporate office would not answer the phone. They just ignored me hoping I would go away and not want to wait. I WAS WAITING FOR A FULL HOUR WHILE THEY IGNORED ME.

I have bought 4 fishes from this particular petco and they have all died i have bought fishes from other pet shops and they are all ok plus the service is horrible there is like 3 workers that are great but the rest are rude and have no manners and are clueless to what they are doing there wouldnt recommend this store to anyone today i have to wait for them to open so i can return another fish that died im done buying fishes there.....

Most of these employees do need better customer service. I needed help they left me waiting for 30mins, I had to go ask them again. When they finally sent someone the young man had an attitude.. We left without buying anything after all that waiting. Most of them are not very helpful or friendly. I say most because Ive only met one employee in the small animal section, who was polite, kind and helpful.. They should learn from him.

Dont apriciate the misgendering of animals, bought a Guineapig and it turned out to be a boy, got my female piggy pregnant. The female pig I bought from there was pregnant at a young age. Better to adopt. Good online prices for dog food. Always clean, and always cleans up after pets(dogs are allowed and sometimes use the bathroom).

this location never has what I need. the animals are always dying or dead and the staff is rarely around to help with anything. went in today for flea and tick collars and I was told they havent had any for 3 months. whats up with that? I think this store needs a new manager.

Grooming department is absolutely the best! Amanda has a genuine love and interest for the wellbeing for my dog. She notices the smallest details and keeps me informed, as well as , makes knowledgeable suggestions! Wont trade her for anything! Mono loves her!!!

This place has a very huge parking lot. Offer a wide variety of things to meet your pets needs. The lines are never too long. The employees are always willing to help you.
