Love CREAM! Home of the custom-built ice cream sandwich. You pick the cookies (freshly baked, sometimes lucky to get them warm, and you can pick one kind of each). Then the ice cream (the scoop is generous and I have never had a bad flavor yet!). And if you want to splurge eating more delicious calories, pick a topping at 50 cents/topping, which they will coat the entire surface of the ice cream with for example chocolate chips, almonds, gummy bears, sprinkles, etc. For those who are gluten-free or vegan, CREAM has cookie options for you. I am still going through their custom-built ice cream sandwich menu. I have not tried anything else yet - the Cream Taco, milkshakes, sundaes, fruit bars, etc. I normally get one of each cookie (White Chocolate Macadamia Nut and Double Chocolate Chip), no toppings because that would just be way too decadent for me. Its already a meal without the topping! The line can get long, like out the door when the weather is warm, but the line does move fast and its totally worth it! Cash price is $3, which is a steal for the quality and quantity of ice cream and yummylicious soft cookies holding it all together. Metered street parking or near-by parking garages.

9/13/15 I really like the ice cream sandwiches at CREAM. Ive been to the Walnut Creek location a couple of times and they always have fresh cookies and delicious ice cream selections, including tasty vegan options! Our office had a staff party and I picked up a bunch of ice cream and cookies from CREAM for DIY sandwiches at work, which was a big hit with the staff!

I mean, they make warm gooey cookies and put homemade ice cream in the middle. Its a little ice cream sandwich heaven in your mouth. You can create hundreds of combinations of different kinds of cookies and ice creams. Theres nothing not to love. And for those with allergies, they have gluten-free and dairy-free options. Something for everyone.

I came in with my daughter and puppy was asked it was a service dog by the manager I said no. Also pointed out theres been numerous times Ive been there and seen some fancy breed dogs that were not obviously service dogs. I also received bad rude service by his employee. Maybe because my dog was a pitbull mix.

Great selection and very affordable. This place is fun just make sure that if they role the ice cream sandwich all the way around in the topping to get some on all sides. No one should pay 75 cents for 4 sprinkles and sometimes they try to just dunk it in on one side- I dont think so.

I dont see the appeal. Its half decent ice cream in-between cookies. The cookies melt it so you cant enjoy it. Just walk down the street to Lotties, they have homemade ice cream that is a million times better.

Great ice cream cookie sandwiches and they even do an ice cream cookie cake. Ask for a bowl though as they sometimes hear the cookie too much making the ice cream melt.
