A while back I broke the right temple arm to my glasses and after living with them broken for 2 months, I just couldnt stand them falling off my nose anymore. I took my glasses in this morning to be repaired and Abe told me the temple piece was beyond repair, but he helped me find new frames that were similar in shape to my current glasses. He found one that was flexible, wont break easily, and also had a similar lens shape. He took my lenses and cut them down a little to fit into the new frame and he was done within 20 minutes! Not only was the process really fast, but it was pretty cheap too! The best time Ive ever had in getting new glasses. I highly recommend anyone in need of new frames or repairs to their glasses to come here!

The owner was great at giving me space while I tried a million lenses on (the selection of styles had all the trendy ones other places do, plus a wide range of other styles. I dont like the teeny tiny trendy glasses, Id rather see!). The glasses were ready in 5 days (including weekend days) and work perfectly. He adjusted them to fit better than Ive ever had someone fit them. And all for half the price of my last set of glasses. (I get the super-thin, scratch coated, etc lenses. He discounted the frames to under $100! Compare with $200-$400 for frames other places I was looking.)

My husband needed nose pads on several pairs of reading glasses. He left them with the young lady at the New Optical Shoppe for about an hour while he did some errands. The new pads were all installed and all of the other screws on his glasses were tightened. The cost of the replacement nose pads was extremely reasonable. The service was great, and the person in the shop was friendly, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely have any future repair/replacement work on our glasses done at the New Optical Shoppe!

The hours posted on the website and on Google show open on Saturday, but when I visited the shop today it was closed and the posted hours on the placard indicated Closed on Saturday. For this reason I was unable to patronize this business. It would be helpful in future to have the website and Google posted hours reflect the most current business hours.

I received above and beyond service at this store. I came in with a broken pair of sunglasses after trying to fix it myself at home (failed, and lost the screw while I was at it). He was very kind and understanding, and fixed my sunglasses in a few short minutes--with no charge! With this level of service, I will definitely be back.

Very satisfied. Walked into the store for only 5 minutes, I got my repaired eyeglasses and some good suggestions for free. The owner was kind and professional, and there were a good selection of frames. Definitely will go back again when I need a new pair of eyeglasses.

That was easy. I needed to replace old frames that had broken. Abe offered to make new lenses, but he also showed me which frames I could use with my old lenses. A few minutes later, I had the lenses in a new frame and was good to go.
