Without a question the best technical bookstore in the United States. I have traveled and lived all over the country and there is no other bookstore like it. The staff is extremely friendly and selection is the best I have found anywhere. Now they are even matching Amazon prices on most of the books. Update ::: Technical Bookshop is closing after more than 20 years and all books are 50% off and lower than Amazon. I am extremely sad to see it go. The owners are fantastic and losing this store will be a huge loss for the Silicon Valley Community it serves.

This is a true hidden gem in Silicon Valley. They stock all the best, most recent tech books on their shelves from OReilly, Pearson, Pakt, and the other great publishers, covering microservices, node.js, and all the programming languages and databases. Theres a separate section for hardware-related technical resources also.

If you need a technical computer/engineering book that isnt carried by Barnes and Noble, check here. They will probably have it. They also have some photography and design books that I havent seen in mainstream bookstores. Great resource.

Sadly due to the cost of leasing this amazing bookstore is closing this location. I had been going here for the last 6 years every time I was in town for programming or infosec books. Always great prices and friendly staff.
