If I could give this place more than five stars I would, especially because of Gisele. I stopped here and was able to take a food and wine pairing tour and tasting without an appointment (this is one of the only places that will do that, but if you have more than 8 people reservations are required, and if its a weekend, reservations are recommended). I learned so much about wine in general and food pairings, and the wine is delicious of course! It was about 100 degrees when I was there, so we spent most of our time inside, but still got to see some of the vineyards/grounds outside as well. Gisele was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make my experience great! I cannot imagine having a better experience anywhere else. Highly, highly recommend this place!

I tried to open a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon — MISTAKE! The stupid synthetic cork was so embedded and stuck that it broke my cork screw. I had to use a mallet and a screw driver to break it, which broke half the bottle neck... still the cork was stuck. Only with the help of a pair of pliers was I able to free the wretched cork! And after all that, the wine is below mediocre! BEWARE THE IMITATION PRODUCTS FROM BARINGERS, WHO ARE TOO CHEAP TO USE REAL CORKS!!!! Thank god it was a gift because Id really be angry if I had spent my own money on their junk! This is only my opinion.... I hope you have had a more pleasant experience.

Im a wine dinker but didnt know much about it apart from the that you can pour it, drink it and too much makes your head sore the next morning so decided to get some education at Beringer Vinyard. The tour was wasnt that expensive and you were taken on a complete tour of the facility while drinking samples of wine. You get a white, rose and red at various stages and youre taught and use the 6 Ss of wine tasting. Ive always wondered why wine tasters spit out their first mouth of wine out then make a funny noise with the second mouthful and now I know why. What a fantastic tour and a must see if your in the region.

Outstanding service!! Incredible food!! Knowledgeable tour guides!! We had a work retreat in Napa and one day of meetings were held at Beringer. Joe, our host/supplier, situated our group in a space surrounded by historical beauty. Mark Beringer, the winemaker, joined us for lunch in their BEAUTIFUL space appointed with original touches & perimeter windows. We finished our time at Beringer with a tour through the wine caves and vineyards... Giselle, a French Canadian with the voice of a song bird, showed us the ins & outs of Beringer history. I hope to return!

Took the Wife to Wine Country and told her that Berringers was THE tour to take, based on tours I had take over the years... Marvin was our guide, and he was the best guide I had ever had and I had been touring wineries for years. He was concise answered all questions and seemed to take the reverance that most people assign to Wine Tasting,, irreverantly. The tour was still fascinating and my wife loved it, so it did not dissapoint! Only Con is that it is ENTIRELY too pricey.. 20 dollars for tours of wine cellars is lunacy.

We took the short tour, which takes 30 minutes and guides you through the cellar. The four wines we could try were mediocre at best, only the desert wine was ok. You dont get into the Beringer house itself as part of the cheaper tour, which is a bit disappointing, because that is really a nice and interesting building. In general the wines are way too expensive for what they offer - at least compared to what you get in Europe. $40 for the desert wine, $25+ for the reds seem way of.

I disagree with most who say the "big ones are too corporate and that they dont make good wine" as it is a complete lie...at least in the case of Beringer. Yes, they are big and they are that way because they are good at what they do and make an excellent product. Staff there were excellent and even gave me a sample of wine from the 80s to try! Highly recommend stopping in at the very least, to see the beautiful buildings/grounds but do try their wine as you wont be disappointed.

We went to the $40 wine tasting in the Rhine house just before closing time and it was awesome. We were greeted by Matt who presented us the wine we tested and talk with us for about an hour. He was super nice and taught us many things regarding wines and comparisons between France and Nappa. The wines presented were really good but Im far far away from being an expert, I wont judge on that. But we definitely enjoyed our experience here. I recommend it.

Beringer is the wine and winery that turned me onto wine 30 years ago. However I would skip this wine tour now. It was not nearly the tour/winery it used to be. For a few dollars less and a tasting of more wines along with really great fun go 5 miles up the road and check out the Tuscan Castle. It was just so much more fun and informative. Ill still continue drinking Beringer but avoid the tour, just NOT worth it.

We (a party of 4) went to Beringer and we were approached by an asian lady who started explaining the options in a way that made us feel like we werent able to afford a $45 wine testing... that right away turned us off, no professionalism at all. We ended up going to Sterling instead, the service there was amazing, we talked with approx. 26 people there and all of them where welcoming.

Beautiful estate with incredible wine. There is plenty to see here and that is why they offer tours. Take a tour! The buildings and house will require plenty of pictures, so make sure your batteries are charged. There are plenty of place to sit and relax here, so if youre not into the tour let the others go while you rest.

Understaffed, expensive, and crowded. We learned nothing at the tasting - the staff was overwhelmed by large groups and only focused on pouring wine as quickly as possible. I did not receive a single explanation for any of the wines we tried. Maybe a better stop for those on a booze cruise through Napa.

I have not been to the winery but today I purchased wine at the local grocery store. (Gorgeous estate photos!) Im very selective with red wines because I prefer white wine but the Red Moscato is a semi-sweet wine with just the right tingly-on-the-tongue effervescence! I like recommendations.

This of course is a large Winery which Mass produces a lot of wine. Some of their Reds are okay but overall its a medium quality bottle of wine. There are some decent read that I have enjoyed in the past and some of their mid-level wines are very good for the price

Absolutely amazing wine. I was extremely surprised with the quality of wine and the courteous staff at Beringer. I even signed up for their wine club and purchased several bottles while I was there. A bit pricey, but totally worth it. Five stars all the way!

My wife and drink wine occasionally and only know the basics about wine, it can be very intimidating! Paul gave us a tour, he was very knowledgeable and a great tour guide. I would highly recommend this winery and would tour it again if we go back to Napa.
