Been to many liquor stores in the area and this has to be the worst for customer service. No greeting, no smile and certainly no customer service. When I got to the cashier, Robert simply grabbed my purchases and started stuffing them in a bag. No hello, and certainly no friendly vibe. I made a comment about service and as I walked out, Daniil chased after me calling me profanities I cant repeat. If youre a professional or family man, this is not the place for you. If youre used to the rough neighborhood vibe, youll feel right at home here. I dont write reviews very often but felt compelled to warn others about the service here. I certainly have no other motive to write this than to state my opinion and hopefully stray people to the many other stores in the area. They have a great selection but I would easily forego that for better customer service.

If you have kids over 14 they make you show everyones ID and/or refuse your purchase. I went in with my niece to buy her a juice to take her medication with and I figured Id also by some beer since I was there and I just got off work - they wouldnt sell to me because she was obviously under 21. I still go there because it is my only option around but it really inconvenienced me and rubbed me the wrong way. The cashier made a big deal out of it and made me feel like I was in the wrong for brining her in with me instead of leaving her outside on the street.

Rather smallish Northwest Liquor and Wine store compared to others the aisles are so small that you are bumping into people left and right, and if you stop to inspect something you are blocking traffic. Overall has the sense of being overprices but I do feel that the quality is good for certain items which bring me here, but typically I dont make this a mainstay of all shopping. Good for: Chocolate, cheese, produce, upgrade party snacks, beers. Not a great deli.

senna_builds_bikes: having come from a state where all liquor stores were privately owned, it isnt actually any different. Prices are the same. Service is the same. Even the layout is the same. I guess there is one difference - no cardboard advertising stands inside the stores here. *shrug* It really sounds like you are complaining just because of some sort of bizarre moral opposition, as opposed to substantive difference.

Theres a new privately owned liquor store in this same store front, and these are purveyors of the most earnest stock. If its commercially order-able in the States, I highly recommend talking to them. Theyre all about stocking to customer, and they are actively trying to provide the best selection in the city. Pretty good array of absinthe, too, if youre into that sort of thing.

Rudest people i have ever talked to. After we purchased some overly priced beer they had my friends car towed without warning because he parked in their garage. He had to pay $500 to get it out of impound and he was left stranded in Seattle. Stay far far away from this place.

Ive always had a great experience here. The owners are very friendly and offer great recommendations if youre looking for something for a gift. They have a great selection.

Most impressive gin selection Ive seen almost anywhere. They carry lots of local spirits and can offer opinions if looking for advice. Glad to have it in the neighborhood.

Yes, it is indeed not a free market economy here in WA when it comes to liquor. Welcome to Washington, where you need a license to wipe your behind.

Great selection, especially when it comes to liqueurs and whiskey. Good beer section and lots of bitters to choose from. A bit on the pricey side.

One of just a few places that actually carry a variety of liquor. Most places only carry the very basic liquor.
