Extremely rude/unpleasant behavior. The selection was decent, but the owners (guy manning the shop) attitude ruined any desire I had to actually look for something good. The guy seemed in a bad mood as soon as I entered, and glared at me the entire time I was bowsing. He seemed especially annoyed when I looked at some liquor reviews on my phone. I ended up only getting a few airplane bottles as I didnt feel like giving him any more of my money. When he was getting the bottles he was again, extremely unprofessional about it. After I paid I said "thank you" and he just grunted and turned his back. This wasnt the first time the guys been unpleasant, but it was the most blatant. Just go to another shop where the people can manage the be civil.

I ordered a 7.5 gallon keg of beer a week in advance of a BBQ for 30 people I was having. I even called in advance to make sure everything was all set, talking to the same guy thoughtout my calls, Anil. When I went to pick it up Anil had me fill out all the paperwork and pay for it. When he brought it out to give it to me, it was only a 5 gallon cylindar. Thats 1/3 less beer than he told me and since you often have to order kegs in advance it put me in really bad spot. Not cool at all on his part. Its one thing to make the mistake when ordering but to not tell me on my follow up call and when I was paying is unacceptable.

Anil is a pro at wines! He has an exceptional ability to grab the best bargains and wonderful vintages and delivers them at a price that beats Safeway and Whole Foods! Check his white board for great wines to surprise the host for your next dinner party. Not only does Anil know a good wine when he tastes it, he researches it and knows how its score from Robert Parker. I trust his recommendations and he has yet to let me down after 4 years! I live in the area and know that the other reviewers have just had unfortunate one-off experiences. Give Jolly King a try. You wont regret it.
