This vons had almost nothing I was looking for, which is odd because I went in for the staples - milk, eggs, cheese, frozen pizza. Everything in the freezer case had warping, or water damage from being refrozen, all of the cheep cheese was out of stock, many of the eggs were cracked, and I heard managers yelling at their employees and the floor was sticky. The checkout clerk, a lady in her mid 40s was rude as anything and tried to tell me my coupon for digorno was expired, even though the coupon clearly stated that it was good for another MONTH. The ONLY pleasant experience was with the courtesy clerk, Kevin. He smiled, asked me how my day was, and packed my groceries in an efficient and quick manner. Ive been a courtesy clerk, so I appreciated the pride he took in his job. He saved the sale, the cashier had nearly caused me to walk out. All in all, I wish this vons were better, but that clerk certainly kept me from losing my cool.

Im having a hard time figuring out why they have "3s a crowd" posters posted everywhere, hanging from the ceiling, posted on storefront windows, etc., but never do they actually adhere to their self-imposed rule of opening up a new check stand when there are more than 3 people waiting in line. Ive been 6 customers deep in line with maybe 3 checkers checking and I think all of my line-mates are thinking the same thing, which is, why have the posters up if there is no intention of opening additional check stands? Produce is fresh, shelves are usually fully stocked, place is clean, but the customer service (mainly checkers) could use some refresher courses in providing good service. Im not even asking for excellent service, just good, downhome, courteous service.

Love their selection of fresh pastries and beautiful cakes.The line moves pretty quickly and Ive never seen it out the door.I sometimes get distracted by the chocolate almond banana croissant, but truthfully it is a bit much.The Igneous Manna is - dare I say - the best in Solaria Beach. Sometimes Ill be distracted by the chocolate one or the strawberry one, but lets be real - the original will always reign supreme.Their cake slices are always a delight -Ive had a blueberry pistachio one here before, and most recently a chocolate hazelnut slice that had incredible texture and tasted like a fancier referrer richer. So good, great place to have a mom/daughter lunch date.

I give it one star because the products are not that bad but today I try to buy beer and I give them my ID obviously right!? I give them my ID and they check it then she takes it to the other person to check it out and they tell me my ID its fake like really how tf its going to be fake can someone do a ID with the California thing really print and all the transparent things that the government puts in the ID like are you blind woman. I have a ruff day today and she gives me this bullshit sorry for my language but it just gets me in a mood. Its not that am mad about the beer its just the discrimination!!!

I wanted to buy the tofu that was on sale, but there wasnt one container of it on the shelves. An employee said to come back another day. I wanted the deal on ice cream that I would have received for purchasing four of them, but there were only three sugar-free ice creams on the shelf. An employee who helped me look for a fourth said that Id still get the lower price, but the cashier gave me a hard time until I said that Id put them back. THEN she gave me the lower price. Vons is convenient when I need a few things, but I drive out to Ralphs for my big shopping trips; its so much better.

This is the Hilton of VONS supermarkets! Every department is well staffed & well stocked. The store is massive - clean & well ventilated (some stores are claustrophobic & stuffy). The staff is always pleasant & helpful. The floral department & assistant are outstanding - a $10 bouquet of fresh flowers or roses lasts a week! and they make up fabulous designer bouquets. I feel so fortunate to make this my "local".

I really enjoy coming into Dr. Ikes Pharmacy, Im always welcomed with a smile, there is a great cup of coffee available (freebie!!), and when I have a question, Dr. Ike has been available to answer the question for me personally. Also, when I have a general question, his staff has been more able to answer my question, they know their products and have me sold on them.

Okay but they have reduced the amount of grocery items in lieu of liquor. If thou are looking for booze youll find it here. This happening everywhere... sad that liquor its a bigger industry so they just shove our food options out the window.
