I really like the open, and friendly feel of this store. Its the exact opposite of one of the giant warehouses with towering stacks. They have a huge selection of stuff for my garden and DIY projects. And the staff is really why I keep coming back - every time I start one I run it past the staff here to make sure I am on the right path. And their suggestions and help are always great. And they are also always friendly and above all available. Dont have to go hunting through row after row to interrupt someone lifting pallets onto the stacks. Helping me with my project is the top priority, not driving the forklift. The store has personality while still offering great prices and a really good selection.

I went to the paint section with my color selected and hopes high that an expert would be on hand to advise me. I was sold primer for a paint that already had primer in it. My painter tells me the primer should have been tinted to cover the existing color better. The paint expert was aware of the darker under color, thats why I was sold the primer to begin with. I had to return for a second gallon of paint. Thats two gallons of paint and one gallon of primer for a moderately sized bedroom with a wall of windows.

This hardware store is AWESOME. The crew is very friendly and helpful, always willing to help you find the little pain in the neck plumbing fittings and adapters. Local family business, why would you not support this Sonoma County Gem of a hardware store. Besides sometimes they have FREE donuts and coffee in the mornings.
