The absolute worst of the worst.. if you are in a pinch for time and are trying to save money on a project. Do not....I releatd do NOT . go to this place. The absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. The inventory is low quality and There times the price of the name brand new Their return policy is vague and they are loath to take any returns and will exhaust every resource to leave you with the burden of getting the manufacturer to replace a faulty or warrantied part. I called there three times to discuss my concerns about not being paid for equipment they bought from me and had not yet paid for.....and was hung up on twice by one person and when I called directly back was hung up on a third time by someone else before they even heard a word from me. They said well the grandfather doesnt want to deal with me. And that was that. Company policy. We dont like you. No service. See dont understand the problem no service. We dont like giving money back. No service. They asked me to no longer come there today. No problem, except for the small matter of them owing me $100 dollars for a brand new faucet that they purchased from me and never paid for. They never exchanged or gave me store credit for a. Grinder they sold me that literally worked. For five minutes before stopping. Never to start again. That was $40 down the drain. . I am not some picky hard case customer and I have never written a review on. Company in my life. But after getting such horrible service and then instead of honoring their obligations I began to get hung up on and y elled at and told not to. Come there. Of course they dont want me there anymore. They owe md money. They love taking your money but not so big on giving you something of.value for it MN . I have tried to resolve issues with them only to get the run around and.told to come.back when so and so was there and when that person was there I was told to come back to when such and such was there...WTF. THIS STORE actually rates in the negative numbers as far as I am concerned. You may see more positive reviews then negative but let me tell you. If you want to cut to the chase to find out whats reAlly going on about a company. Skip the positivereviewd anf readd we go straight to he negative ones. Anyone can post positive reviews in finding the people who have the. No wonder. But no one takes the time to t hi le out one of these things unless they were so mistreTed and taken for granted bthat a half hour at the keyboard spent to tell the community About this business that does not have your best interest at heart. If you value your money, your time and your peace of mind, take San Andres Hardware off your list of options and save yourself from the schemes of this home spawned store of abuse and greed.

The clerk Popau is rude. They dont honor their guarantee. My girlfriend got some key copies made. The gentleman said they were guaranteed. She got four keys copied. One set didnt work so I go in. I messed up and told him to fix a pair that didnt I need it, went back today with the pair that didnt work to get them fixed and the clerk told me I had to pay. The reason I posted this was because he had offered the guarantee on the copies. Granted I wasted 30 seconds of a his day yesterday, my mistake. When I went in earlier I didnt have my wallet, so I had to go home grab it and come back. At which point I gave him the opportunity to honor his guarantee, he said "Sir why do you worry about three dollar key, when you drive up in a thirty thousand dollar car?" That did it for me. I drive an old, used Sentra. How rude! I told him that all four key copies were his work and he had offered the guarantee. He cut me off and said good day that I should go elsewhere and basically kicked me out. This was the worst experience Ive had in Santa Barbara.

You already know this is the best hardware store in the city.why should you go here instead of "comparison" shopping on Amazon?Amber, Colter, Esther, Guillermo and Dion.Amber:Youve seriously helped me take care of my brand new family, helping me to get a fan replaced that smelled very strange and made way too much noise.Colter: You plugged in different models and tested them with me.Esther: My baby needs a grandma and how about one who can solve plumbing, stain and hose problems like a boss? I love you all.You make the difference. I look forward to coming in to the hardware store.

Very rude, asked a very simple question about how much it would cost to have a key made, to which the man on the phone responded "perhaps sir if you are concerned about the cost of a key, we would not be the business for you" and promptly hung up on me. Perhaps if this is how you treat potential customers, you Sir should not be in business.

What a PLACE! We went in looking for little fish nets to go tide-pooling and they MADE them for us, saving us running all over town! This is what a hardware store is all about. Go. Go often. Shop local. Thanks San Andres Hardware! Best hardware store Ive been to in a long time.
