one of the worst experiences i have ever had getting automotive work done!!!!! First Off i bring my 2015 rzr 1000 in because of a no start after my clutch sheered off, i believe because the previous mechanic at mission motor sports did not tourq the bolt. del ammo proceeds to do a compression check and finds 0 and says i need a top end on the motor. i assume from over reeving when the clutch sheered off. i authorize tear down and to my surprise get denied warranty when they say i submerged the rzr in a lake! the unit has never been anywhere but ocitiolo wells and has never even seen mud let alone water or a lake. I dont know how they got a bucket full of water and oil but it defiantly never got submerged. so i pay the astronomical $3000 to fix it witch was bs because they keep saying one more part is bad. I drove all the way to malcom x to get a secondary clutch for $500 get it to them few days later pick up my rzr and they had ordered a secondary clutch and told me because it was ordered i have to buy it or they wont release my rzr to me so another 500 down the drain. then i get my rzr out to the desert and hear a massive clunk go to camp and found 22 loose bolts (INCLUDING MY ROLL CAGE!!!)all of my light wiring was rough-ted wrong and some if it was even pinched between brackets and a massive oil leak. I had even tiped the mechanic 20 bucks and asked if he could please make sure everything was perfect. I called the service writer and he said bring it in let me look at it but we are really backed up so we cant get right on it ill need a few weeks. Im sorry but im an already payed customer im in front of the guy that is there now this is an extension from my last visit to give you a chance to fix your mistake.so i fixed the oil leak myself turns out the head bolts were loose. They also kept my extra springs and weights for my aftermarket clutch so now i cant adjust it at all they told me they never saw it witch i know is wrong because i have a picture of the box of parts i left with them and the aftermarket clutch was bran new in the box with the springs and weights. through the whole thing it took them 5 weeks to do a 5 hour job and forced me to buy 500 in parts witch i dont need and they created a potential fry down of my motor and oil leak from lack of paying attention and following text book procedure not properly tightening internal motor bolts is basically a rooky mistake so i guess i have a spare secondary clutch now and a new mechanic i know not to trust im not even going to try to use my warranty again this was such a bad experience they also lost my clutch cover and said it came in without one on it.

!!!DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIKE TO GET FIXED HERE AND DO NOT BUY A USED BIKE FROM HERE!!!! Went in with my 2015 R1 to get new tires put on. When I got there, there was no one ahead of me in the que. The bike went straight in and 3 hours later it was finally done. Got home and realized the rear wheel was dragging. Sure enough, the "tech" put the axle in backwards and the wheel was pushed in at an angle. The left axle block was pushed against the adjuster and the right axle block was a quarter inch back from the adjuster. How they can get away with one putting a riders life in danger had it gone unnoticed and destroying a chain and sprocket in the process is befuddling. These guys have absolutely no clue what theyre doing when it comes to working on bikes and seriously need to restructure the tech department. The fact that they cannot manage to do the simplest thing on a bike should be a massive concern for EVERYONE. NOT ONLY THAT! When I was hanging out in the showroom I noticed a salesman trying to sell a new rider a used gsxr 600. New riders are oblivious for the most part on a lot of things. The salesman I noticed kept insisting that the GSXR had been gone through by the service department. THAT WAS A COMPLETE LIE. After they walked away from the used gsxr I felt like taking a look at it. The brake pads were down to almost metal, the clutch lever was bent from a crash and missing the spacer nut. The brake fluid was low in the front and the lever squeezed all the way down to the bar and wouldnt stop the bike when I tried rolling it forward. Not only that but the rear sprocket was complete toast, teeth were rounded down. And the guy wanted to start getting into doing track days and as a racer myself I felt obligated to tell him all of this. Walked over to the gentleman wanting to buy it while he was talking to the sales guy and showed him all the issues that the salesman tried lying about and got him to leave and go to mission motorsports instead. This new Del Amo is a siht show to the fullest. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCREWED OVER IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE. THE TECHS ARE IDIOTS AND THE SALESMAN HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND ONLY CARE ABOUT THE SALE INSTEAD OF SELLING SOMEONE A GOOD VEHICLE. GO ELSEWHERE! Ive only been riding for a decade, crew chiefed for multiple professional road racers and currently club race at an expert level.....but hey, what do I really know right?

This is a review of a Yamaha Demo Day that took place TODAY. Im giving this place 1 star because its hosted by Del Amo Motorsports, which should have taken some time to understand the registration process as well as find a route that actually made sense for a demo day. Long story short: Slow, poor registration process that for some reason required them taking a photo of us, lord knows why you need a photo of someone doing a demo ride. I did a Ducati test ride and never once did I have to give over so much personal information. I managed to sneak in at the end and sign up for two rides and quickly found that I was never going to get a real sense for the 16 Yamaha XSR 900. We left the dealership and rode maybe 1/4 mi to the 55 freeway. Upon hitting the freeway we switch over maybe one lane then promptly exit. After exiting we take some really boring street roads with stop lights everywhere. Maybe its just the fact that this dealership isnt really in an ideal location for hosting these things but man, some thought should have gone into taking a better ride that let you get a feel for it. The whole time it felt like we were just trying to find our way back to the dealership. Too many stop lights, too many times the group got split up, etc. Didnt even bother with the 2nd ride (Super Tenere). Never once got to see what the engine was truly like. If youre looking to do demo rides, check out SoCal Motorcycles in Brea or if youre into Ducati, check out Westlake Village Ducati. They did a Ducati event and drove us out to Mulholland Highway and even through, "The Snake." Got there at 9:50, registrations started at 10, was in line for about 1.5hrs because they only had two iPads for registering riders and a really antiquated method for doing all of this. Finally got registered only to find out my riding time was set for 2:05PM (it was 11:30). This cant be the first time Del Amo Motorsports had put on an event like this.
