EXPIRED PET FOOD! Eight weeks ago I went into this store to purchase dry pet food (the expensive kind). The only bag on the shelf in the size I needed was well beyond its expiration date. I had to spend more on smaller bags of food to make sure it was fresh. I expressed my concern to the cashier, who seemed surprised and I heard her get on her intercom to ask someone to take care of it...but when I went in again yesterday, that same dog eared, lone bag that is even OLDER now is still the only one there in the size I needed. Again I had to purchase the more expensive smaller bags and repeated the situation to the cashier...who just kind of looked at me. I have photos of the bag and I am contacting the company. I know that expired food does not have good nutrition and that it can certainly cause illness. This particular PETCO does not seem to care...BEWARE! Very disappointed...

The grooming salon needs some serious customer service training. I try to avoid it as much as possible but sometimes out of convenience I have taken my dog (Maltese) for grooming there. There is a particular woman who checks in my dog (dont have her name but she is very heavy set), as my dog is shivering from nervousness, there was no compassion or no attempt to calm him down, she just rolls her eyes and carries him to the back, her face turns red as if shes upset. Eash time I left him there, Ive had knots in my stomach. This is not the kind of service I would like for me or my dog so I will no longer use their services.

Ive been taking my dog to this Petco for about a year and am very happy with them. Im never organized enough to plan ahead so all of my requests are last minute. They always squeeze him in; they will alway tell me the time frame it will be for their services. I am so grateful for their accomodating my bad habit. My dog is always happy to see the people and they are very nice to him. The last grooming service I used would take a week or more to get an appointment. Also, they have "buy 8, get one free" so after 8, theres no charge.

Very displeased with the quality of the purchase. Received a Beta fish and died within 24 hours. From the moment it was brought home, it rarely swam or ate. I believe that the animals are maltreated, thus causing them to perish soon after they are purchased. In the different tanks, there were neglected dead fish stuck in the filter, or aimlessly floating around. All of the supplies purchased for the fish are now useless due to the employee selling a practically dead fish.

Terrible service! I took my Maltopoo to get a full grooming and after 4 hrs of waiting, the only thing they did was give her a bath & dry her. They said she was "too freaked out to do anything else." They ended up reducing my $45 charge to $35, but I still think that was too much. When I spoke with the Store Manager, she said, "Next time you might want to go some place more professional." Need I say more?

They are what they are. I definitely like the feel of Pet Food Express much better. But sometimes out of convenience Ive got to pop into Petco. Some of the employees are there because they love animals and want to work in that kind of environment. Some are there because its a job, and it shows.

Lindsay Deckard or something like that been taking care of my Siberian husky roxy for awhile now, I love her service she treats my dog like family and its only pet groomer my dog likes, and my dog got great sense in people. Ask for Lindsay when you go to grooming area.

In the grooming salon be sure to get Mandy. She is the best groomer I have had in the neighborhood and I have tried them all. She is gentle.stylish with her work and very loving with my dog Cashmere . Also her work is consistently excellent!

This location is clean and there is ample parking in front and behind the store. Isles are often crowded with unpacked boxes and it can sometimes be difficult to find someone to help unless you go up the front and have them page someone.

It all depends on who you get, sometimes you get someone who knows nothing about animals or sometimes you get someone very knowledgable.
