My experience at this store at the end of last year was terrible. I have Verizon service and was in the process of switching to AT & T but the new phones that AT & T sent me were not very good quality so I went into this store to have someone show me what phones they had available so I could pick a good one to make the change. I had spoken to people on the phone which were very nice but this store was the exact opposite. It took a while to get service the overall demeanor of the employees was not friendly and the girl who attended showed no interest whatsoever in helping me switch or helping me to get the phone I was really interested in. In fact she seemed overly interested in losing me as a customer emphasizing that if I switched phones I would be charged an additional fee even though I hadnt even started as a customer yet. I ended up not switching to AT & T and mailed the phones back. AT & T better change its ways of getting new customers and the way this store does business if they want to stay in business.

I hate to say it, but this is one of the worst AT&T stores I have EVER been to. I live close to San Rafael, but I would rather go ALL the way to the one at Stonestown in San Francisco before I would go back to the one on Fourth street. They dont seem like they really listen to you about your problem, and they dont go out of their way to help with big issues. Several times I have gone in with a problem and they have told me there is NOTHING THEY COULD DO ABOUT IT, and the next day when I went in to the one in SF, they fixed it for me right away. Seriously, avoid at all costs.

This location is always busy - but when I go there, the sales consultants are quick at helping me out by answering the questions I have. Out of all the consultants though, Richard L. is the man. He went above-and-beyond in helping me out. AT&T should be thankful to have someone like him on their team. Thanks 4th Street AT&T!

Long wait times, and the helpfulness of staff is hit or miss. Expect to pay more than you anticipated for what you want, and they dont actually stock all the phones they have on display, but they may not mention that until you ask them why theyre trying to sell you a more expensive phone than you asked for.

They wont care, but I will write this anyway. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER. After being an AT&T customer for 20 years, I am switching to Sprint. The "Manager" was out - but somehow, it took the totally lame salesperson 10 minutes in the back room to figure that out. Obviously a lie. Bye Bye.

Their coverage map said the coverage in my area was excellent but even though I purchased their MicroCell booster for $140, calls are continually dropped. To say their service is spotty would begenerous and thats unacceptable for a device I depend on 24/7 .

Their customer service is rude. All they care about is sales. They did not transfer data from my old iphone onto my new one and left that up to me, refusing to help. Their manager is especially rude. They do not care about the customer.
