I am a collector of Funko Pop and Wasnt able to purchase any only due to their server being down, So I was told to come to the store to purchase the pops I wanted (They saw I wanted 4, all different) When I came to the store they then only allowed me to get 2 total. Most stores will stop you from getting multiples of these because a lot of people sell them online. I just am a collector and wanted 4 different pops and they stopped letting us get that. But if you bring in a family then each person can get more (top probably sell on Ebay), doesnt seem fair.

Its a Barnes & Noble! Like, with books and everything! When youre escaping crowds from Famers Market, or just looking for a place to hangout, you can never go wrong with a good bookstore. Lets agree that with as much as we love a good small town bookstore in SLO, you always feel a little guilty hanging out there all day reading stuff and not buying anything. Plus, with as much as good ol B&N has taken the brunt of going outta business lately, we can pretend theyre small town now too.

I love Barnes and nobles and have had a membership there for years. My recent experience today was not as nice as usual. We were paying and had some change to get rid of. We were paying and the clerk ( a girl in her 20s with dark brown hair) was giving dirty looks and seemed annoyed. We were going as fast as we could and as we were leaving she looked at us and said "Yeah, just so you know, were a bank." And was very rude.

Its really sad to see these bookstores starting to go away. I loved going to Barnes and Noble and just "hanging out" here. I never had any interactions with their staff as I do well on my own here. Prices are pretty reasonable (considering its a storefront) but they did kind of morphed from a book store into an everything else store with some kids toys and Legos.

The Barnes & Noble Staff are usually helpful and the book section is great but the restroom is usually dirty and smells bad. The Starbuck staff are not always friendly, sometimes rude, and you cannot pay with the Starbucks app. Its best to go to the Starbucks across from B&N where the staff are always friendly and helpful.

The employees are always willing to help me find what I need and order anything for me that they dont. Free shipping on orders over $25. The starbucks coffee shop was recently remodeled upstairs and it looks great. The store itself is always clean and they have one of the only public restrooms downtown.

Wonderful staff who are quick to help you find anything in the store and go beyond to help find books available to be shipped to the store or delivered to my home. One employee walked me to specialty items and the cashier checked to see if I was aware of other similar titles.

They are usually the cleanest bathrooms on the block, and for closing them on Thursdays, that is the smartest thing they could do. Seeing how the youth of the town used that location as a drug depository. Still the best place in the city to relax and buy great books!

Large selection of books, nicely organized on two floors. Chairs randomly placed and special displays by subject. Large travel section. Sometimes local authors do signings. Cafe upstairs and large selection of magazines. Could spend an hour or two browsing.

A shadow of what it once was, likely another brick and mortar victim of online ordering. Escalator is shut down, a sign of things to come? Still, if one wants to buy a physical copy of a book and cannot wait for delivery, its a great option...

A fairly medium-large store with two floors. Quite a big selection, too. You could just browse and look at the covers for a good while. There is a café in the upper floor if thats your kind of thing. Overall an enjoyable place to sit and relax.

Funny, my children, in their teens, were in awe. Although the bookstore is almost extinct, it is still a wonderful place. We all walked out with multiple books and the kids desire to read re-ignited through this "nostalgic" experience.

Smallish Barnes and Noble, but very friendly and at there is a book store here! Would have been better but a lot of rowdy young people hanging around from the theater that werent shopping for books. They were in a book store though!

Solid Barnes & Noble! The bathroom is upstairs, across from the cafe—also upstairs, in the childrens section. Magazines are also upstairs. The California/local section is to the right of the entrance. Friendly staff!

They have an escalator that goes to the second floor. But no excelator that goes down to the first floor. You have to take the stairs. I came here to read. Not exercise get your stuff together Barnes & Noble.

Great staff and decent layout. But why oh why would you place the childrens section right next to the cafe where people come to read and do work?

Its a Barnes and Noble, not much to say about it. They do have a Starbucks across the way from the Starbucks.

They have good helpful employees and many books but it is a little understaffed and tends to be a bit messy.
