I dont recommend this place to anyone! Dont do business with LIVING SPACES because you will be disappointed. I wish I wouldve read the reviews before and saved myself a headache. Walked in the store for the very first time on a Saturday afternoon and I really loved the setup and the selection they had on display. I had the sales associate look into bunk beds tha I liked. Was told it was in stock in the Fremont warehouse so, I purchased and paid delivery charge $100 Scheduled delivery for Tuesday. On Monday I received a confirmation call with a delivery window of 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. NO delivery and no call, so I called the customer service number and they said they didnt have the hardware to put it together. Optimistically, I rescheduled for delivery for Thursday. Wednesday, I received a confirmation call and just to be on the safe side I called Thursday 30 minutes before delivery scheduled time, and the representative confirmed it would be delivered...Still NO DELIVERY!!!. This time they said they were missing the headboard and had to order it from southern California so we had to re-schedule...WHAT? Yes they removed the delivery charge, how nice of them right? I canceled my order at that time card to be refunded.. I wanted the store manager to know of the bad customer service, and went in to the store. I first spoke to a sales associate requesting to speak with the manager he then brought me to another rep and guaranteed they would make it right smiling the whole time..CUSTOMER SERVICE trained. This rep instructed me to pick another set and they match the price of the original set purchased, furthermore, i can even pick it up in 2 hrs. Like a sucker I paid for this set too. We came back in 2 hours the crew looked shocked started scrambling around these fools just told me that the paperwork was made for tomorrow..No No No my husband said bullshit somebody better get someone in here now. The manger and parts crew tried to give us an excuse that the tools they needed was doubled locked combination and key lock. My husband told them to use the bolt cutters. Then, the manager explained Im sorry what can He do to make it right.. I explained I came out of pocket based on a guarantee and Living Spaces cant honor their own words. Where is ppl behaving badly Stanly, or 7 on your side? Genaral manger John response "I can refund your money back." This place was such a joke!

Do not buy anything if it is backordered. Its been 3 months and Ive gotten 4 out of 6 chairs. Theres been at least 4 deliveries and each time something was wrong. First delivery of 2 chairs had 1 with a missing foot piece. Second delivery of two chairs had the wrong chairs completely and then they got returned for a refund instead of an exchange without telling me. So I had to reorder them. Third delivery then only sent 1 of 2 even though the second chair was literally next to it on the truck. Guy only had paperwork for one so he wouldnt give it to me. Oh and then that one was also refunded without telling me so I had to reorder it again. Fourth delivery was delayed a day. It was supposed to be two chairs but I got a call saying there were three. So then the next day only two chairs arrived but one was a light tan color. Fifth delivery was only one chair and the only one that didnt have a problem. I now have 5 chairs, 1 is the wrong color, 3.5 months after I ordered them. And the website still shows them in stock. So pretty much avoid this place if you need anything delivered.

This was the worst shopping experience ever. Living Spaces should be ashamed of this store. The staff here is not knowledgeable at all and once they have your money, you are basically on your own. Ive spoken with the General Manager (aka: Store Manager) on several occasions about where my 3 month old order was and he refuses to follow-up and is avoiding contact with me because he has no answers. Instead he delegates the task to his staff who also has no answers. Their standard response is to call corporate myself. How can the General Manager be in that position if he cannot manage to get his staff to provide basic customer service? As far as I can tell, his only skill is being a Wal-Mart greeter every day - Which is where you will find him you need to escalate anything. If you must shop at Living Spaces, choose another store as the leadership here is incompetent.

This was my first time visiting Living Spaces. I was amazed at the choices and large quantity and quality of the items offered. I enjoyed the ability to walk around and browse at my leisure without the pressure of the salesperson breathing down my neck. Speaking of the sales staff, everyone I encountered was friendly, professional and helpful. One in particular, Trinicia was exceptional! She was personable, enthusiastic and informative. She was attentive and well versed in the many options Living Spaces had to offer their customers. When I am ready to purchase my sofa, I will return to Living Spaces because of how well I was treated.

While the web site states that you can get same day pickup at the Rialto distribution center in Fremont, the staff at the San Leandro store says this is never true. In fact the salesman said that they lie on the web site to get people in. I would call ahead before going there. We grabbed the SUV his morning, drove about a hundred miles to check out, buy and bring home a certain price if we liked it. We settled on a different entertainment center, and when we said we will be back on Wednesday to pick it up, we were told "oh no, it has to be 48 hours, not 3 days". They had to get special manger approval.

The experience in store was great. They will not accept the coupon codes online or over the phone. The couch they delivered was the wrong color. When we refused delivery, we were told we wouldnt be able to get the couch for weeks. Customer service will not transfer me to talk with anybody at the actual store. Asked for a refund, was told it would be refunded in four separate refunds, two for the couch, and two for the delivery. Overall, from the time we purchased the couch to the ongoing saga of making sure I get the refund, the experience has been a major hassle. The showroom experience was nice though.

Ive looked online at the items for a while hesitant to make a purchase without testing. Luckily I randomly found out this location replaced the old Kmart. I was blown away how modern and beautiful the revamp of the building came out. Youre greeted by a person who says right away no one works on commission (so you dont feel forced to buy). I loved everything. Bought two couches. Downfall is the wood on couch is now digging into my legs. Theres no padding and you can feel the 2x4s all over. I love the look so Ill have to figure out how the fluff up areas.

Dont buy from Living Spaces. They gave me a shipping estimate, but when that date came they told me it would be another two weeks. After reading others reviews, I didnt wait around to see how much longer it would take to get my bedroom set to me. I canceled my order and I feel like I dodged a bullet. I hope to actually get my $$ back. Ive at least received an email confirmation about the cancellation. This company feels untrustworthy. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because they were courteous on the phone and they did cancel per my request.
