Yeah, so they should call this place "Design Within Reach for the 1%". Well, okay, not the 1%, but you get my drift. At the moment, it is definitely not within my reach but I hope it can be in the near future. It would be lovely to pop in and say, "Ill take the $410 Louis Ghost chair, put it on the Visa." Anyway, I like the space here off University Ave and the service was friendly and accommodating. I seriously have been lusting after the Philip Starck Ghost chair for quite some time and although am not in a financial position to buy right now, thought I would entertain the possibility. The affable saleslady and I looked at the chair in different lighting, scrutinized to see how easily the polycarbonate would scratch (turns out it would scratch very easily) and how comfy it is. On a similar topic, we ended up talking about the different types of scratching posts on the market, but I would not hesitate to come back here and buy the chair should I come into a windfall or if I ever decided that style is more important than food.

The company does carry nice products but the company services are extremely horrible. My orders are delayed two months behind schedules because the kept delivered the wrong items twice. The sale person does not event follow through what were shipping out to customer until the customer received the wrong items, then call the sale person. She didnt realized the wrong items were shipping out. When you spent more than $5K, you get the White Glove Service( that is false statement). I feel like once the sale and transactions are done then it it a done deal. No follow up with when or what will be shipping out. There is no personal communication contact to reach out to customers. Overall the company is out there just to sale and making money. This is the first and last time I ever shop this store. I urged the new customer to look at other companies that give you the excellent services for the same quality products.

This gallery has some beautiful modern pieces of decor and furniture. I cant say theyre priced within everyones reach but its still a nice place to see certain items before purchasing online or from a catalog. They carry the classic Herman Miller and Eames pieces so if youre in the market you can drop in and pick something out with ease. The staff are incredibly nice and do not push sales. We stayed to talk about certain pieces and about personal travels. Most pieces arent within my reach but I did see some things that I would definitely go back in for.

Love the things in this store! The products are amazing and mostly within reach (yes, theyre still a little bit on the pricey side). I wish only they could have the most popular items available on site.

Well-designed, high quality furniture, but at similarly "high quality prices." Youre definitely going to pay a premium for the Design Within Reach brand.
