This place has great food and is worth coming for some good people watching too. Visually the place is a small neighborhood butcher type shop that sells sandwiches on the side and is clearly an meeting place for people who have come for years. The clientele on the day I visited included about 10 fire fighters, trades people, and was very casual. Its easy to spot first timers (holding the menu and taking photos). Besides the sandwiches you can find good selection and moderate prices on meats, smoked fish, and more. The sandwiches... Amazing. I had the Triple Bypass as did my college and we both finished them all (amazing cause they are a huge serving); $7.99/each. They do accept CC and can tip right at the register too. A few tables inside and a few outside. Expect to wait about 10 minutes as the hand make your creation. Great taste friendly service. Ill recommend this to my friends.

Where has this hidden gem been most of my life!! The sandwhiches here are amazing and their meat selections are to perfection. My buddy and I decided to come here for lunch and we were not disappointed! The location of the restraurant is in the corner and you take the brown door, not the one with their # on top of it. Their triple bypass was one of the greatest sandwhiches I had in a long while. The meats were juicy and each with different flavors that overpowered the sandwhich to perfection! The smoked tukey was great too, not dry and definitely full of flavor. Would definitely come back to here for lunch to try other sandwhiches.

Hands down the best Sandwiches in the bay area. The "Super Hero" is worth the trip by itself. As a general butcher, these guys are outstanding. They make most of their stuff in house from Bacon to Amazing Smoked Turkeys. If youre looking for something different, this is the only place I know of in the bay area where you could get Alligator, Bison, Elk, Wild Boar.

WOW - bought a whole smoked tri-tip and it was superb!!! I heated it for about 20min at 350 and when I sliced it it was perfect medium-rare and SO good. It was the hit of my dinner party... will definitely be back. Cant wait to try their sandwiches. A real hidden gem here in Willow Glen.

The food was good,but the counter girl was surly. When I asked for water she told me I had to buy it. When I did she remarked "youre welcome". Like I should be grateful to buy water.

Tasty. Same owners as LG Meats. Seems like there is more speciality sandwiches here? Sharp on all four corners at this location, if you know what Im saying. Keep an eye out.
