At least half of the furniture in my apartment comes from HD Buttercup. Their collection is hip and trendy, but its also filled with unique pieces that you just wouldnt find anywhere else, they look amazing, make for great conversation pieces, quality is great and, maybe just as important, the staff is equally good - theyve always gone beyond to help me figure out what style to go for, never pushy, always super helpful - when I was in a bind to get a new sofa the same day they made magic happen despite the fact that it was already 5.30pm - just cant say enough good things about them! I dont think its a stretch to say this is the best furniture store in San Francisco

i used to go to this store in l.a. and have a few pieces from them LOVE IT! you will find furniture in this store that you can only dream of owning. pieces that are not replicas of what everyone else is doing.... and most important pieces other people dont have in their home :) san francisco we are lucky to have this amazing furniture store here. there is something for everyone and their taste in design. they have amazing sales a few times a year. i cant wait to go check out the store on townsend. YAY! thank you H.D Buttercup for coming to the bay :)

This is a very nice furniture store with a great range of items. Many of the pieces are pretty unique. I find the organization of the floor to be a little dense, which can make things harder to navigate (has a bit of an Ali Babas cave feel!). They do have customer parking, which is convenient. Well worth exploring for inspiration and maybe a great find.

Looking for unique furniture? This is the place to go! H.D. Buttercup has every type of design from classic to funky—all in a variety of budgets. Its two floors of awesomeness. The even carry glassware and candles. Tip: Go often to check out the sale section. You never know what you might find.

we love furniture shopping but we hate "mainstream" pieces. HD has a great selection and a super friendly staff. The selection is mostly sofas, chairs and tables. they have a limited number of beds. best furniture store in san francisco.

Were always excited to stop by and check out what they have on the floor, but weve never found anything we cant live without. Its worth a stop if youre in the market for furniture or funky deco, but be prepared to leave empty handed.
