Oh, Im sorry, Nob Hill on a Saturday morning. Did I wake you after your wild and outlandish night of stalking The Real World up and down Polk St? Did you by chance have one too many shots at Mayes Oyster House? Did you wind up dancing real close with a stranger at Vertigo? Well, forget about all that. That was yesterday. This is now and now we are at Golden Coffee tucking into a 7 dollar plate of delicious warm hash browns, eggs, and bacon and chasing it all down with bottomless coffee. Good Morning, San Francisco!

I went to golden coffee today for the first time to eat breakfast. Right off the bat the service seemed not to great. It took a few minutes for the server to take my order, and to bring me my drink. I ordered pancakes and he brought me them, but without syrup. It took him a few minutes to bring me the syrup after i asked. The food was very good though i may add. I would go back just for the food. It took almost 10 minutes to get my bill though witch i was not happy with.

this place is rad. I used to go here all the time when i lived in nob hill and it was so cheap id get bacon and eggs breakfast and a full order of french toast and coffee and it was like $8 or something. The owner runs the place and is super chill. most importantly this place is the REAL DEAL not some douched out yuppie trap full of annoying tech nerds who moved here from mountain view last week. awesome, down to earth, local spot with good grub...and crazy cheap.

The only reason I hesitate to give Golden Coffee five stars is because I dont want this place to become too popular. If I lived in SF Id prolly eat there every day. The place is a classic counter service greasy spoon. The food is cooked quickly and cheaply and tastes good. I like the man who cooks and the other people who serve and run the place. I feel good in there. There is something lovely about the occasional personal touches found in the simple, clean decor.

This is my go-to breakfast place. It aint fancy, but nobodys there for the decor. Pancakes, french toast, generous waffles, crispy bacon and eggs any way you want them. The service is slower when full, but the foods still hearty and the coffee is endless. Like: family run/ horseshoe-shaped bar Dislike: popular in the mornings Good for: hungover mornings, big breakfast before a bike ride

This is one of Lower Nob Hills best kept secrets. If youre looking for a no frills diner that serves good breakfast, look no further than Golden Coffee. The breakfast here is cheap, delicious, and incredibly filling. I would highly recommend getting any of the breakfast entries, but there burgers and fried rice are tasty as well. Overall, its the perfect meal after a late night out.

A greasy spoon with good food at low prices. Small and with mostly locals frequenting their breakfast, this is the place to go if youd like to get fed and have a quiet brekfast. A charming place, that doesnt leave your wallet crying, thatll put enough food on your plate to make sure that youll get through the day.

Nothing fancy, just simple greasy spoon fare like omelets and pancakes, along with GREAT hash browns. No fuss no conversation waitresses keep your coffee full and the service tight. Small counter seating area, I think there is one or two tables by the window. Cash only!

This place is a real greasy spoon. No pricey toast, no fancy eggs, no artisan single origin coffee nonsense. $7 breakfast. Thats it. Eggs, bacon, toast, and coffee. An unassuming gem on the base of Nob Hill. Adored by locals who dont adore kale.

This place is delicious! It can fill up due to limited space, but its well worth it once you begin eating your homestyle breakfast. Its one of those kind of places where you need to be the early bird.

Want to eat good breakfast food with reasonable prices. The coffee is very very good. Servings are excelent. I would not trade this for an IHOP or Dennys. Make no mistake this place is VERY good.

DELICIOUS breakfast and cheap as hell! Tiny spot with limited seats, expect the counter staff to try and rush you out as soon as youre done. The waffles are totally worth it though.

Quick, delicious, no frills, cheap, diner breakfast and lunch. Staff is nice but not very talkative. Perfect for sipping coffee and reading while you wait for your food.

A small place for locals. A total staff of 3. The cook grates the hashbrowns as needed. A good value at a mom and pop shop.
