Im not a coffee snob- I drink a lot of Sbuxx. But after I tried this place, I havent been back to the S place since! Their coffees are wicked good- I used to have to drive out to Sideboard to get great coffee but now the Coffee Shop is 5 minutes away from my office. Great, relaxed vibe, excellent staff and great coffees prepared properly. Dont be in a hurry to pick up something and run...youll have to wait a little because they do it right (and theyre kinda new...) But if you want a great tasting Americano (add an extra shot- its worth it) or a pourover, you will NOT be disappointed. Will try the milk drinks in the future...

The environment is very open and relaxing, but the menu does not include what is in each sandwich, which leaves it to the staff to explain it, wasting possible valuable time and confusion for the customer (I got sweet sauce in my breakfast sandwich, odd but it was okay, I just did not expect it). The menu is very busy visually and trying to find the price for drip coffee is hidden on a menu for tea. The coffee is tasty and there are lots of options, and an onslaught of menus all over the place, so it is confusing as to where to look. Friendly staff and decent food and good coffee.

New 3rd Wave coffee in Walnut Creek. Handsomely appointed, airy open space with the requisite wood, tile and industrial metal fittings--- note the gorgeous custom espresso machines. Coffee is sourced from a range of leading roasters -- Four Barrel, Stumptown, others -- and prepared expertly. Some unusual highlights include house-made coffee syrup infusions and a refreshing coffee citrus soda on tap from Oaklands Black Medicine. Staff was super friendly and happy to chat about coffee stuff For an upmarket coffee shop in this day of coffee snobbery, its very accessible and fun.

High quality coffee and beverages from knowledgable and friendly baristas, without driving for 20+ minutes from home? Yes please. Cutting edge coffee technology here - the showpieces being the two Slayers viewable from all sides in the middle of the room accompanied by nitro cold brew on tap right next to them. Rotating, eclectic selection of coffees not usually found around here (Kaldis, JBC, etc) provides enough incentive to drive here and visit if you havent made your way over yet.

This place is just flat out excellent. Every coffee drink they sell is amazing and their food is absolutely fantastic. I had just eggs, avocado, and bacon. It was the best bacon Ive ever had and the eggs were cooked so well it was as if I had never eaten eggs before. They have a great menu - very big - something for everyone and they also sell coffee beans at a very reasonable price. The prices of the food and drinks here are quite reasonable too. A+++

The crew today was shyte. No lids on drinks and my specialty drink was sloppily mixed instead of being carefully poured to look like the way it usually does as per the Google photo on their profile. I might as well have never asked them to warm my pastry because it was still as cold as my drink which had ice in it. Im hoping that I can rewrite this review with better stars the next time I come to this place because I really like the cozy environment.

I come here at least once a week and now dont get coffee anywhere else. Superior selection and flavors here with fun options like trendy alcohols, bloody Marys, fresh pressed juice, affogatos, I could go on but you get the idea. This is a busy place and staff works hard to get coffees out quickly and stay on top of their game. They have art shows and game nights and are located near lots of great shopping and the movie theater.

Consistently come back here for their pour over, nitro coffee, espresso drinks and food. Theres really not much to dislike except for the lack of space because there are so many folks who know how good it is. The baristas can explain what pour overs are good, where they get them, and what kind of flavors youll experience, so you shouldnt end up with anything you dislike. They also have non-dairy creamer options.

Im surprised i really have an opinion about this but I like this place. It may have been the best cappuccino ive ever had and is nothing like the starbucks super foam one normally finds. It is tough to get a seat sometimes but i like the treatment of coffee like craft beer with different roasters and such. Its a nice place and much better than the rotating coke houses that used to occupy that location.

Tasty coffee, interesting selection of beans from good roasters. Terrible music most of the time i come in here. They have a terrible record of getting my order right (usually "a latte and a hot chocolate" who knew that could be so complicated!). Ill come back because the coffee is genuinely good, and all the other cafés nearby are genuinely bad.

I really enjoy their mint ice cold brew-- moreso than Philz Mint Mojito. Also a great place to get some work done on the laptop, or read a book. Lines are stupid long at times. This place would benefit with an online ordering system as there is usually only one cashier and more than enough staff in the back to make the drinks.

Best iced latte Ive ever had. I work at a coffee shop too, and this place is really something special. Great service, great baristas. Adorable decor! I love how the iced drinks are served in mason jars and I love the for here mugs/cups as well! Everything is perfect in every way, and I definitely will be back for more!

Definitely one of the best places to get a good cup of coffee in Walnut Creek from popular roasters across the US. It is always packed and really load, would not recommend if youre looking for a small quaint local cafe atmosphere. Its also quite expensive so if youre just looking for coffee this may not be your spot.

This coffee shop is unique. Specially chosen roasteries from around the country coupled with artesian sandwiches and locally sourced products. Service is congenial and prompt and the space is comfortable. For the coffee aficionado, they have two Slayer espresso machines - one of the few in the Bay Area.

Absolutely fantastic every time. Great selection of coffee and espresso, excellent baristas, cozy atmosphere - an excellent place to meet up with people or work on projects. I find myself back several times a week despite the 20 minute drive and cannot wait for the Lafayette location to open.

My wife and I came in based on a recommendation from a co-worker. We were unsure of what to get and a kind gentlemen offered to help us with the menu and recommended a few items. Turns out, it was the owner! Great ambiance and a good place to grab a coffee and a delicious pastry.

Ive had coffee at this place for two consecutive weekends and the consistency of the pulled espresso and the frothing has been amazing (different baristas). That shows that the employees at the shop takes the quality of their product seriously.

How could it get any better!? A coffee shop named "coffee shop" with a liquor license and delicious high end brands of beans as well as snacks. Definitely recommend to anyone whos ever heard of Equator coffee or hasnt. Cheers!
