If you hate your cat, this is the Banfield to go to. Unfortunately PetSmart is going to get some review flak for this, but maybe they can use some of their influence to talk some sense into the clowns at the vet section. Gist of it is this: Had an in-person checkup appointment that was cancelled that morning, moved it to a drop-off the next day, dropped the cat off at 9am, we called around 2pm and was told they had been too busy to see her yet, then we called around 5pm and were told that our cat was too aggressive for them to do the checkup on, and asked if we wanted to buy a sedative for her. She literally spent the whole day in a cage and when she got home she drunk water like she hadnt seen it in years. Feel awful like we abused her by dropping her off at this place. The staffs excuse for everything was that they were too busy, so lucky for them, they now have one less customer to worry about. For what its worth, we frequent Banfield back in Orlando and have had nothing but good visits, including getting shots done, so Im not sure what this was all about. I suppose leaving an animal in a cage all day will trigger their survival skills.

I dopped our dog off for play day. My older kids happened to be in the store a half hour after I dropped off my dog and didnt see him out in the play room thand My son was in the store for half an hr. and looked further and saw our dog in a cage. My son called me to let me know what he saw and heard. I then called the store I was told that he had been put in a 5 minute time out because the attendant felt that our a 12 month old Labor doodle posed a danger to him or other dogs. Which just was plain BS. They didnt have other dogs at the time. They just didnt want to add a staff member for only one dog and instead put him in a cage. I ran to the store and picked up my dog who was soaking wet because he had been sprayed with water repeatedly to keep him from barking. I was livid. I would advise anybody dropping off the dog for a play day or day care to check on your dogs.

and noticed that one of the corn snakes looked wrong.(I have a corn snake) I asked two different employees what was wrong with the snake they both briefly looked and said oh its about to shed. Thats not true because the eyes were crystal clear. The snake had recently shed. I would have been happy enough if they had said. Those bumps are mice. The problem was that the bumps extended past the anus.basicly your typical pet smart. Who hires people who claim to love animals. Who throw puffery(look it up)at you. Pet smart needs professional staff to be honest

Great place for fish hobbyists, though I guess the cat/dog supplies are what most folks go there for. Cat and dog supplies occupy much of the (very large) store. But there are also whole aisles of fish tanks and accessories, and the most knowledgeable aquarium staff Ive seen in a chain store. Spoke to Dan, who worked at Peninsula Tropicals for 20+ years, tons of experience and good advice. Really nice selection of healthy-looking fish as well as live plants - Ive definitely found my new fish store for mid-Peninsula.

Went into this store to buy puppy food for my German Sheppard and labrador. I did not realize that the bag I picked up had small tiny worms crawling out of the package. The attendant told me they would locate it and bring to the counter, after five minutes the lady told me that all of them had worms on them and that she would find me something comparable. I waited another 10 minutes until she got me a food for small breed dogs....I ended just leaving and wasted half of my lunch break there.

The workers there are so nice and welcoming. My sister and I owned hamsters from there and the people are very helpful. They remember us and always say hi when we go there. They ask how our pets are doing and make conversation. The workers are the nicest workers I have met. I love petsmart now because of how nice they are!

Awesome store with great choice of food, toys, bedding and everything you need for your pet. There is adoption center, pet grooming and even pet hotel where you can see your furry friends via camera or through the glass. I saw the person comforting pets in the walking room. Overall, best PetSmart I have seen so far.

A very friendly place. I feel comfortable coming here as a new dog owner. One of the front desk person in the grooming area on 12/20/15 morning was impressively helpful, went beyond my expectations in answering in detail about pricing. Incredible! Thanks

They do have good stuff. Lots of variety for food. I personally have a cat, and we get all of food here. The assistants are really nice, and overall the store is pretty good. But... when you walk in, the smell is awful.

This was the first time my dog has had his nails done anywhere besides the vet he went to before we moved across the country and she did a wonderful job on his nails and handled him being fidgety perfectly

The folks that work here have always been super helpful. Theres a guy in the fish department that seems to have a lot of knowledge about tanks & whatnot... Plus its walking distance from my home.

dirty with a lot of dead animals... dont buy at pet smart... for animals just brutal :( i had to get something urgent for my snake... otherwise i would have bought it somewhere else

Its a fine pet store. Bought a cafe here. Staff not overly helpful but exactly what I would expect from one of these large chains.

Friendly staff but the grooming is not as hoax as it once was dogs have had some injuries although minor, and uneven trimming.
