I just purchased my fiances engagement ring at Sherif and couldnt have been more satisfied with the experience. Being a college student I had had a lot of trouble finding a quality diamond and setting for my budget of $5,000 at other places. I wanted at least a 1ct and didnt want an I1 or I2 which were the only stones places like Shane Co could even show me in my price range. When I first arrived at Sherif I was immediately greeted and helped by Mia (she was awesome to work with). In 5 minutes she found the exact setting style I was looking for and we started looking at diamonds. She showed me a GIA 1.03 H SI2 diamond that was great but the stone alone was way more than my budget. She went and talked to Mr. Sharif himself and came back and said that they would do the diamond, setting, and tax all for right around my budget. I couldnt be more thrilled with the ring, its beautiful and Sherifs prices are unbeatable. I will definitely going back with my fiance to get her wedding band and my ring. I highly recommend Sharif to anyone looking for great service and prices

I went to Sharif to have a diamond reset in a wedding band. From the moment I walked in the door I was treated like a queen and Manny suggested an excellent band and May 2nd band from diamonds that were left from my first one. The second band had my grandmothers engagement diamond, my mothers engagement diamond, and my original engagement diamond. After a month or so I noticed my mothers engagement diamond was gone. Since Sharif Jewelers had made the ring I went back to them to see what could be done. They took the ring to the back room, and brought it back with a new diamond in it! It was not the same diamond, it didnt have the same emotional impact comma but it wasnt a big hole in my ring that they made. Every time Ive gone in there after that to look at rings or have mine cleaned and inspected I was treated like the most important person that has ever walked through that door. Their prices are very good and their customer service is beyond excellent. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I have been going to Sharifs since moving to Sac in n1993. They actually completed my 1 yr wedding ring by adding a ring of diamonds and it was perfect! They are bar none on customer service, you are always greeted when you enter with a smile, turkish coffee & dessert treats! I recently went into the newly remodeled store on How & was blown away at the beauty! I felt like I was at Tiffanys. Even though I went in searching for a new necklace, I was talking to Sharif & told him about an upcoming fundraiser we were having & I wanted to invite him. When he found out the organizations we were supporting, he offered to donate a nice piece of jewelry, and this is something he is known for...giving back to the community with generousity and gorgeous jewery! Their prices are beyond fair, you get to select your own stones & never have to worry about getting the best quality in jewels. I send all my friends and acquaintances here!

When I entered the store a salesman approached me. I told him what I was looking for and he showed me options. I asked if I could speak the owner and he replied that Im getting the friends and family discount. (A business colleague of mine referred me to this place. She asked that I talk to the owner and mention her name.) I was not asking for a discount I wanted to mention that my friend had referred me to this jeweler. He didnt let me finish and I never did meet the owner. The piece that I bought is beautiful, but it did take over a week to get. When I got a telephone call to say that this was ready they mentioned the wrong type of jewelry. Clearly they were just making back to back phone calls and didnt really have a clue who I was. When I picked up the piece they didnt verify that it fit (which it didnt). In the end my experience was not very good and I will not be back.

I Am adding onto this review i did 3 months ago because I dont know how to do a 2nd review and I wanted to give recognition to another excellent employee of Sharif Jewelers his name is Tony and he was VERY pleasant and very helpful he made my experience all the better. Please when you are considering where to go for the purchase of your jewelry go to Sharif Jewelers on Howe Ave. Mr. Sharif has the most attentive customer service people in the Jewelry business. 10 out of 10☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

THE BEST PLACE IN SACTO TO BUY FINE JEWELRY!! I started with Guzzetta for my wedding ring, and have purchased from Arden Jewelers, Zales, Nordstrom and Macys but NOTHING compares to Shariff. First of all, they seem to do everything possible to provide the best service and work within your budget. I had gone in to see if I could "trade up" with an old pair of earrings and some scrap gold to get much sought-after diamond hoops. They gave me an excellent deal and Mr. Shariff really worked with me to make me happy. They also served me delicious turkish coffee and a great slice of baklava. Between the vibe, the treats and the amazing new earrings I left one happy girl. You really need to try them!

The staff at Sharif went above and beyond when my fiance and I went in to purchase his wedding band. We were able to buy a very unique ring that was fairly priced, and we had a memorable time doing it. The owner came out and gave us baklava to eat and Turkish coffee to sip, and one of his employees shared stories about his huge family weddings. They also let us admire some of their very expensive watches just for fun, and did not pressure us to buy anything. You dont get service like this anywhere else in town. I definitely recommend it.

i took my ring wedding right to get sized at Sharifs and i ended up making a few changes to it, i was a little worried about what it would look like, but when i pick up my ring i was totally shocked! it looks so beautiful!!!! im so glad that i went there to have the changes made to my ring. they did an absolute awesome job on my wedding ring. Nerina was a very big help to me and she knew a lot about style and what would look good. Very nice person! Thank you Nerina for all your help with my wedding ring!

I just got back from Sharif Jewelers and decided to write this review because I questioned their reputations bad reviews. I told them i needed a gold bracelet for my boss and vaguely told them the style I wanted. The owner quickly ran to the back and came out with exactly what i was envisioning. I was ultimately surprised by how well his taste fit my description. His family operated business (in both locations i went to today) is educated and patient when answering questions.
