Absolutely terrible experience. Not only will we NEVER go back to this store (1900 Douglas Blvd), but I will ensure none of my family or friends even consider it. After my recent experience at this store, and then my nightmarish experience trying to get customer service on the phone, there are very few ways in which Verizon will be able to retain me as a customer. The staff (Miguel Ayson) who helped us upgrade phones blatantly lied to us to get our business. After telling him our objective (not to increase our monthly bill), he claimed to lay out exactly what our bill would be. He said itd increase $15, but that it would be cheaper over 2 years than we were paying. He had also told us, during check-out, that we would still have a credit of over $100 from our two trade-ins. He failed to mention anything about a new, regular monthly charge for the tablet that we purchased with some of our trade-in money (mind you, he still said wed have a credit on our account at that point). We had received our first bill and it ended up being $25 more, and on top of that, we had NO CREDIT! In attempts to find out where the credit we were told wed have was, I spent 4 hours bouncing from technician to technician, repeating my entire story. I was disconnected once, transferred to the wrong store, and forced to call back and wait for over 45 minutes multiple times. All of that headache, only to be told that it appeared the technician, Miguel Ayson, lied to us about having a credit. When we got our first bill and saw the increased cost due to the tablet, my wife called. Twice she was told the issue was raised to management and we could expect a call back. The last time, the call center employee seemed very helpful and stated he sent an email to three of the 1900 Douglas Blvd. store managers; he suggested if we didnt hear anything within 2 days, that she go to the store in person. She did, and waited over 45 minutes before being helped. After all was said and done, we were able to return the tablet, but still had to pay a re-stocking fee. Were anxiously awaiting confirmation that the tablet (which apparently required a phone number) will rack us a "early termination fee" that we get to deal with the terrible Verizon customer service on. Seriously, if youre considering going to this specific store, or even joining Verizon, STOP! Go somewhere else!

Im seeing a pattern in many of the other reviews... They will lie to you. If you know what phone you want and you know your plan and the options inside and out go here, otherwise steer clear as I was lied to by 3 different sales reps on 3 different occasions, and in each case I asked them point blank if they were sure about what they were telling me, and each time they lied to my face. My dad also went here to get his service adjusted and they lied to him too (resulting in him losing his unlimited data and being charged an extra $10 a month when they straight up told him neither would happen). Was lied into adding a "free" service that ended up being billed for an extra $15 a month, was lied to about the specs and payment terms on a new phone, and when they offered to set up my autopay for me they intentionally set the autopay up 3 days AFTER the bill due date and I went about 4 months getting dinged with $5 late fees which they refused to refund.

The people who work here have no sense of time, I waited over an hour in an almost empty store for a problem that was solved in less than ten minutes. Told the guy I was having issues with my mic, speakers, making calls and my camera was no longer working properly, which at that point i said that I just wanted a replacement and yet he assumed I was asking for an upgrade. Resulting in a situation that ended up taking me 15 minutes to correct and finally after about 30 minutes of explaining(again) what was wrong and what I wanted, they eventually ordered me a replacement phone. Sadly, The service at this store is poor. I prefer the Natomas Verizon over this one any day.

I have found if I call ahead and make an appointment, the wzit is shorter (much like the DMV). If not, wait time can be long at times. Ive had great service & poor service. The one thing I dislike (in any store) is salespeople that watch the door and are already thinking about their next customer. I always try and set it up do the sales persons back is to the store and door.

Was flat out lied to about the terms on a "free" tablet. The pitch in this store was I could "Cancel at any time." Later found out from customer service I am now under a 2 year contract with a $170 cancelation fee. Went back in store and got to listen to some BS about how no one in their store would ever do that.

if you try calling the store number here for a question, you get directed through various prompts, then when you select, other options and state your reason for the call it asks you to input your account number, id be able to do that if i was a customer, then it hangs up on you.

Great customer service. Can get busy at times and the wait can be long, but the employees are eager to try to help you once your wait is up. Mid day during the week is the best time. Avoid weekends. Busier and the customer service suffers.

Minimal reception, and no service whatsoever during the peak hours of 12-1pm and 4:45-6pm M-F. Very slow at all other times. It only get worse each day as more people are joining for the new unlimited plan.
