My experience is similar to 2 previous entries. Seems like they use the same "excuses" or false promises as a standard. After shopping all over town, decided to go with Lazyboy, they had style, price and reasonable quality for a sofa and chair I liked. I felt comfortable and safe going with such an old established company. It turned out to be a complete disaster and I would strongly steer anyone away from getting involved with them! At 8 weeks in, when I was expecting my order, they informed me there was an out of stock fabric issue with pillows and the pillows could not be separated from the sofa order so it held up entire order. Telling me this after 8 weeks!! Ridiculous! And holding entire order up over pillows??! The logical question is why did they not "know" until 8 weeks in there was no pillow fabric? After many frustrating phone calls, much of me being proactive calling them, poor, poor customer service and professionalism my order delivered 5 weeks later for a total of 13 weeks turnaround, they quoted 6-8 weeks. They would not budge on more than 10% off, which was unsatisfactory for all the trouble, ridiculous excuses and delays. It was mind boggling the lack of service, communication, unwillingness to acknowledge, take responsibility for their lack of performance and treat me like a valued customer. Finally upon delivery, 2 other/extra custom pillows delivered also and they were the wrong fabric! I then had service back out for some flaws in the furniture, the appointment was 3 weeks out! They only have 2 service techs for all 4 locations. The guy created a service ticket and then I never heard back from them!!! Stunningly inept company and people! I didnt bother pursuing it because I dont want to deal with this ridiculous company any further and do not trust them! Also, another note, from the time I ordered to the time they informed me at 8 weeks of the problem, many of the staff had changed over. The designer that wrote up my order and store manager were gone. I later learned the "Customer Svc. Mgr." was on the job for only a couple months! This company has huge issues, a poorly run operation! I was told the same owners have 4 stores in the area. I will never buy from them again and will be telling everyone I know not to buy from them!

We are not happy with La-Z-Boys customer service at all. We bought a leather couch which was extremely expensive but we thought we were buying quality furniture. We soon found out that it wasnt worth our hard earned money. To start off with the salesman Brain said he would call us every two weeks to give us an update on our couch but we never received one call from him. (They got our money and no longer cared about their level of customer service) I actually had to call them to set up my delivery date. 7 weeks later our couch came and the delivery company didnt even attach all pieces of the sectional together properly. Which ment I had to take it all apart and re-attach. (Wish I would of known this before I gave them a tip) Then the electrical box in the console wasnt attached properly (half of it would slide out of the base and was going to completely detach if we continued to use it). I called their warranty department which told me they would only come to my area once every two weeks on a Tuesday and I would receive a call the day before to let me know the time. I told them that I would not be available between 2:30 and 3:30 because I have to pick my children up from school. They told me they couldnt guarantee anything but they would note it. On Monday late afternoon I called the warranty department to find out why I didnt get a call. They informed me that my appointment would be on Wednesday and the technician would be there between 1 and 4:30. Great!! Right at the time I said I wouldnt be home. I kept the appointment anyways because I didnt want to wait another 2 weeks because i would be out of state. So I went to work in the morning and made sure to be home by 12:30. Guess what?? The tech came to my house early while I was at work and Im out of luck. (No phone call no note) I dont think my couch will ever be fixed. I will never buy another piece of furniture from this company again. I work too hard for my money to waste it on them.

I dont know what other store some of these reviewers are talking about, however, just so you know who is leaving this review, my wife and I have purchased nearly EVERY room of our home furniture at Lazy Boy over the years. I dont know what has happened in this area of Sacramento, however, it is hard to say in a short paragraph how bad our experience has been with this store. First of all, after weeks of waiting then the stores within the area, competing and attempting to degrade each store for the benefit of you buying from their location, the sales people should not be in sales, they are not knowlegeable AT ALL.. We waited for weeks to get what we order, then they called and one piece was damaged, and they delivered the other, and it ALSO was damaged.. It is no wonder they will not deliver until the product is paid in full first, since they want to hold onto your money, while they order 5/6 pieces until they can get one that is not damaged. By the way, you can never speak to the actual owner you have to deal with the customer service manager, which should not be appointed a manager of anything of importance. STAY AWAY, if you want buying furniture for your wife or loved one to be a good experience, these people should close the business, period. As a follow-up to my Laz-Z-Boy experience, since my wife and I wanted to keep with the Kincaid furniture and get the matching lamps and tables, we ordered again, after this 6 week ordeal, HA, I know what your thinking, and guess what??, even after spending another $500, they called back and wanted more money for a deposit before ordering a new replacement table that was damaged by them!! Huh?? I will keep updating this as this ordeal continues to unravel.. I will be glad to post all of this on a site for your review of the actual phone calls and documentation. Again, google for another Kincaid store, stay away from this one, you will be glad you did.

We bought two recliners for a total price of $ 5,500 on July 4th, 2016.. We were told it would take 4 to 6 weeks to have them in our home- the sales lady, Karen, told us it would probably be more like 4 weeks actually- but it was just so she could make the sale-. Yesterday ( August 17th) , Karen calls to let me know the recliners were ready and she asked for the remainder of the money – I was driving at the time so I asked if she preferred to hold- I was less than 2 minutes from home or call back. I asked when the recliners would be delivered but she answered that she could not get to “that” screen until the remaining balanced was paid in full. She asked I called her back once I got home. I did- After she ran my credit card payment, she told me it was going to be 3 more weeks to get the chairs to our home- I was shocked to say the least to have to wait a total of 9 weeks!!!!! it’s because they come from Ontario she says!!!!!!- Unacceptable. Their delivery system is very poorly planned- they cannot tell you until the night before, if it will be delivered am or pm, and by then you have paid in full, so they do not care...we do not have the recliners yet- and I will come back and update this review 3 weeks from now :-( but I am EXTREMELY disappointed…Her sales pitch was at the least extremely misleading if not dishonest.
