My husband and I bought a nice couch and loveseat on sale. They told me they would call when it was in. They did not. Then my husband went to the store to inquire and the the owner/manager was so rude to him, he walked out. Not knowing my husband was there earlier, I called to inquire. The man said "your better half was here earlier and I already talked to him". Wow! Better Half? Really? We gave up till the next week. The store finally called us and asked "why have you not picked up your furniture?" Are you serious? Then we asked them to deliver. They wanted to charge $75.00 to go three, count them, THREE miles to our house. We negotiated to $60. Once the furniture showed up, they said NO CHECKS. CASH ONLY! Can it get any worse? YES! I called and asked why no checks. He said because "You and your husband are working me and I do not trust you. A lot of people are writing bad checks (Christmas time)." We should have known better. We got a terrible vibe when we walked in this crappy store. I will be sending a letter to the BBB. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. Look....three reviews....all crap. They do not even deserve the one star rating, but something is required. Should be a negative star. No joke.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Attention! very very evil and bad people who own and work at this Renaissance furniture store.Public please stay away from this store.They will talk all sweet and smile and laugh untill you pay for a piece of furniture then forget about customer service and they become monsters. when you purchase something they will tell you to sign a paper that says "NO Returns" so then they will try to give you something broken, wrong size or used but once you realize its garbage or realize something wrong with the furniture then its TOO LATE plus your TRAPED because you signed a paper then when you ask for a refund they will get very very angry and say NO! WE DONT REFUND! so i said "you gave me a used matress now a wrong size just give me my money back please" they said did you not hear me NO REFUNDS! so i am not suprised their are lots of angry people out their Because these guys will rip you off,lie to you and very very bad angry people period.I hope Better Business Bureau and people with Authority finds out how many angrey people out thier who got riped off and lied to,AND DOES SOMETHING ABOUT THEM .May God Judge them by thier works.

I wish I had done more checking before I bought here. The salesman Andrew was very nice. I picked my bed from the catalog. I told him I needed a standard bed frame that would fit a mattress for an Egyptian king bed NOT a California King. The bed was delivered past the time after a four hour wait period. The put the bed together wrong, it broke while we were sleeping in it on day 3. The bed is too long by four inches so you can see the slats under the bed and to the floor. I try to cover it with a comforter but I am very disappointed. Andrew sent a person to fix the bed, but it is still not good. It is rickety. He then admitted that the bed frame is the standard size sold by manufactors and that is just how it is. Also he said that furniture is not solid anymore and if you want quality you should have it custom made. I will do that in the future, but I would advise all to avoid this store.

My wife and I bought a couch and chair from this store. First they really tried hard to sell me the floor model which I refused and I still think they are going to try and deliver it to me. Then they told me three to six weeks delivery and that didnt happen. Im still waiting for my furniture. They make it seem like you can customize for free but they said it would cost $200 extra to get different colors for my couch and chair even though they tell me theyre being built now. Now they are trying to charge us for shipping but luckily they wrote free shipping on our receipt. They wont give us our money back which I guess is understandable considering the furniture had to be built (supposedly). They are rude to my wife when she inquires about the status of our delivery. Overall I think this is a scandalous company and I will never buy anything from them again.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! we bought a table and sectional from here and rergret it!!!! the salesman are very nice to get you to buy anything. But once we paid the furniture off they were so rude! we paid for them to keep it at their warehouse which was 50 bucks a month and they were damaged so they had to order us a new one. well a couple months later we were ready to have our couches delivered and they told us that they had put our couches out as a floor model and some kid had damaged them,so our new couches would take 4 weeks to be in. No it took 2 months! the delivery man was very nice and helped us move them in,but they were way to big to fit in the door.so the delivery man called the owner and he said for him to leave our couches on the street! Dont buy from here at all.i will never go back!

Once you make your purchase they go from your best friend to inconsiderate jerks. Were told to come in and pick up the furniture at our convenience, drove 30 minutes to pick it up only to be told they dont have it and we have to wait a week. We wait the week and call and are told they still dont have it. Were told we would get free delivery If the product arrived by a certain time, which it did, but then were told they would not be able to deliver it until the next day. They were incredibly rude and even condescending. Their prices were not even that much better than professional stores that guarantee their dates and products. Will NOT be returning here ever again. Would rather spend the extra money for better quality and service

I received a terrible service from the guy name Nezi. He was very unprofessional and not knowledgeable about his product. He stated he was the owner and for someone like him as the owner you would think he would have more product knowledge. He tried selling me an over priced used furniture not even telling that it was used and returned from customer’s house. I asked him why the frame wood was not aligned from the base of the couch and he stated "dont worry we already had it fixed" because I am a woman he tried to take advantage of me, so I decided to take my business elsewhere. DO NOT SHOP TO RENAISSANCE FURNITURE IN ROSEVILLE. THEY ARE NOTHING BUT CROOKS! BEWARE!

Happened by this store on the way back from an appointment. We were in the market for a new mattress. Found a good selection of quality products. Andrew was our sales guy. He could be the leader in Sales 101 - a bit aggressive, a relentless negotiator who knows how to close the deal. Although we had just started to shop for this item, he closed the deal on that visit. Later compared the product and the price to Macys sale and we got a better deal at Renaissance. I would definitely recommend for the quality and selection at this large store. Delivery was as promised and setup was quick and efficient.
