Great shop and great feel from the artists and staff. They were very nice and helpful with no big attitudes or heads like you get at all the other tattoo shops. I have been pierced by Ron, Kevin and Jeremy and they were awesome. I have metal allergies and they told me they only use the best jewelry for their piercings and they have all healed well with no problems. I would refer these guys to anyone who was wanting a great piercing. They really care about the customer and even talked me out of getting a piercing that another shop was going to do, just because my ear wasnt shaped right for the piercing and it would have caused irritation and cartilage damage if I were to get it.. I have also been tattooed several times by Steve Coker. He has done many of my tattoos; portraits, realistic animals and beautiful script. These guys are the best around and they want you to have a good experience. My friends that went with me were treated just as good as they treated me and they all got to come it to the piercing and tattoo rooms, which are private. Great place for tattoos cause the booths are private and everyone all over the shop cant watch, I personally love that!!! Thanks guys you rock!!!!!!!

Terrible. The artist was over a half hour late. Took forever to get set up...seemed to be out of it which I took as probably partied too much the night before and didnt sleep. I should have left when after almost two hours we finally got started. But I was trying to be positive and the tattoo I wanted was fairly simple. Part of my tattoo is just ok...the rest is very sloppy and looks like a child did it. Also, I have multiple tattoos and this is the first one that seems to be infected. So...I already have an appointment set to fix it with my regular guy. Lesson learned I guess. Also this place was obnoxious. So friggin loud with the worst music and movies playing constantly at full blast. Stay away people. The good reviews must be from friends of the owners and/or artists (notice how I use quotes). If I could have given zero stars I would have. Dont waste your money or time.

Im warning anyone who is reading this. do NOT go here, my friend just went here and he only wanted a clear ear retainer. They cost no more than 5 dollars everywhere/anywhere. and when they do cost more than 5 dollars, who ever youre getting it from usually gives you a few pairs. but these people RIP YOU OFF. they took 10 dollars for each AND a 3 dollar fee for using my card. 23 dollars for 2 ear retainers. At 1st the fat guy said 10 bucks, then when he took my 20, my friend asked, " i thought they were 10.?" hes says, "EACH. "i have never in my life seen any ear piercings/retainers being sold singles. all in all, screw this place. they rip you off so bad. were never going back. if you go here, stay AWAY from the tubby one. (The one who ripped me off)

For her 16th birthday, I took my daughter in for a nose piercing. Ron was absolutely fantastic! He had to be very patient while she got up her nerve to go through with it, and if he felt the least bit upset about it, no one ever could have noticed it! He was humorous, kind, patient, informative, and efficient. We knew just what to do because he took us through all the steps, and shes healing nicely. The shop is clean, and as a parent, I appreciated that there werent a lot of vulgar pictures all over the place. I cant recommend Red Dragon highly enough, and if I ever get another piercing, I know Ill go see Ron for it. Thanks, Ron, for a job well done and with such a sweet disposition!

Red Dragon is my ONE and ONLY place I go to. Tony is my tattoo artist and I have several pieces by him. He is funny and genuine. No bullshit here. My fiance has work by him, and he is the only tattoo artist I will refer to anyone that takes tattooing seriously. Red Dragon is one of the FEW shops in Sacramento that passed the health board for their shop(might want to think about that before you try anywhere else). Ron(owner) is very professional and kind. Definitely will never go anywhere else, and wouldnt have anyone other than Tony tattoo me.

I went to Red Dragon for a tattoo and Rhino did an awesome job. If youve gone through different shops doing your research you know that you can run into some people that seem to be stuck up and act like they have better things to do than your tattoo. Rhino is not that way at all. He was nice, could joke around a little, and professional. Someone you can actually have a conversation with! I love the tattoo. Rhinos a good guy. The shop is nice and clean. Will definitely come back for future tattoos and will definitely recommend it to others!

My 11 year old daughter wanted her ears pierced for Christmas and wasnt sure about needle piercing which my husband and I insisted upon. Chris was awesome with her; he took his time to answer all of our questions, make her comfortable, and then carefully and specifically explained all the aftercare, explaining to her why each step was necessary. We were very impressed with all of the staff and will be back for any future piercings and/or tattoos. Thanks for being so great. Keep up the good work!

Awesome shop and amazing artists. There are a lot of haters leaving fake reviews but that slam or bump shops but I will tell you that I get both tattoos and piercings at Red Dragon and they always do incredible work, and go out of their way to make sure I understand the aftercare too. I have several tattoos and piercings from a few different places and I refer all of my friends to Red Dragon. If you dont know or have had a bad experience or are just looking for a cool shop then go here.

I love red dragon tattoo. The staff is very informative and knowledgable. I have had several of my friends get work here done and we all have had nothing but great experiences. The owner Ron and his staff genuinely care about the work that they do. Ron takes the time to explain what he is doing and makes sure you understand the aftercare instructions. I have never felt rushed here and have always felt that my time was respected. I highly recommend this place!

After reading reviews from various parlors in the SAC area, ended up stopping by Red Dragon for a piercing and couldnt have been more happy with the results. Kevin was on hand to answer all my questions. He was well educated with the technique and worked quick to ease any of my apprehensions. I took my teen daughter here to get her belly pierced, and after having such a great experience, brought her back when she wanted a cartilage (helix) piercing. Everything was very clean, staff was nice and welcoming, and her piercer took a lot of time making sure the placement was perfect. After the procedure, he took a lot of time going over care instructions with her. I highly recommend Red Dragon!
